Hidden Neighborhood Treasure

My husband and I recently celebrated his birthday at Catalina. We had the six-course tasting menu and the wine flight to accompany it. The dishes were delicious, especially the lamb, which was cooked to perfection. The wine was also perfectly paired to the dishes (although we were wary of the Rose they chose for the opening course, it turned out to be dry, fresh and crisp - not sweet, as Rose's can often be). Our server was attentive and friendly without hovering; she even remembered we were celebrating a birthday, which I let them know during booking. If you are looking for a non-pretentious, delicious meal in a beautiful restaurant, then try Catalina. It is a neighborhood treasure!
