Citysearch Editorial Review. This fast-casual restaurant expands its original Beverly Hills outpost and attracts a slightly more corporate clientele in Culver City. The food is health-conscious, fresh and affordable, and the restaurant has plenty of time-saving conveniences (gotta get those suits out in a hurry sometimes!). Naturally, the eco-chic space has sustainably grown bamboo tables and chairs, energy-efficient light fixtures and earth-toned colors inspired by local California lettuce. (Yes, lettuce!) A long communal table and bar inside is cozy, while the spacious outdoor patio offers inviting grassy green tables beneath hanging umbrellas. Gourmet salads, wraps, sandwiches and pizzas incorporate locally grown ingredients. Busy professionals can call ahead to pick up their meals curbside on Century Park East, or grab pre-made Greenleaf To Go items near the counter.
Greenleaf caters double BRIS.
The Antioxidant and Cobb salads were amazing along with the bar-b-que chicken sandwiches that Greenleaf provided for our guests. Everything came ready to go and with all of the accoutrements. Mr. Rollo's dedication to excellence and freshness comes through in every aspect of his food service. The chocolate chip cookies can only be described in one word "DELECTABLE"!
We are thrilled we slected Greenleaf to cater our event.
Hands Down, LA's Best Salad Bar!! Please open one in Century City soon!!.
I love this place, and even though I don't work in the area, I get lunch or dinner from there twice a week! Either way, I'm always DRIVING there. I've tried about every parking lot/garage in the area, and can say the "Secret to Greenleaf Parking" is to park in the FREE garage at Saks Fifth Ave across the street. It's a quick walk over, and it's the Right Price.
Long Live Greenleaf!!
Satisfies a picky eater!.
I NEVER used to eat salads. There's always something in there I don't like or am allergic to. If I ate one, I made it at home and brought it to work. And THEN came Greenleaf. It's so dang good. My co-workers and I all love it, and we can walk to it (a good thing, since parking is sliiiim-pickins). I do have to say, there are a couple things that prevent me from buying every lunch here every day. One, it's just a little pricey. Salads can add up quick especially if you add a protein or something to them. I mean, $12 isn't a fortune but it definitely stops me from having it every day... I can treat myself to it maybe once a week. Two, the chicken. I'm picky about my meat- I don't like it when it has a crunch. It bothers me when restaurants don't bother to cut off the fatty weird parts of the chicken breast. Some people don't mind it, but hey, it's my review.
Overall, a VERRRRY yummy pick. And now they're open for dinner. Hooray!
CItysearch Editorial Review. Under a lime green awning, neatly dressed and hungry patrons linger, awaiting their turn at the cafeteria-style kitchenette. Once inside, a sign cautions to "step back to avoid flying greens" as salad preppers slice, dice and chop everything from crunchy iceberg to marinated tofu. In the narrow concrete-floored space decorated simply with (what else?) huge green leaves painted on the walls, customers can select from 48-ounce seasonal salads or craft their own with options such as avocado, barbecued shrimp, hard-boiled eggs and applewood-smoked bacon. After ordering, diners squeeze into a table in the back, or grab a seat at one of three covered patio tables overlooking Wilshire Boulevard.
Wow...Best Salad Place in L.A.. Let me start with F***in' amazing. I have been a loyal customer of some other pretty popular chicken place for my salads since I moved to LA, and I thought that was amazing...until I tried Greenleaf the other day. I think I can only go to Greenleaf from now on. I chose to make my own salad which is pretty cool. (I only know of one other salad place in L.A. that does that and it s*cks). Order came out perfectly (slight skimping on the toppings, but not to the point where I was upset about it) in about 4-5 minutes. I watched it being made and it looked like it was checked for accuracy by a few different people. Tasted amazing, and the dressings are completely homemade. Salad was brought to me, and I was even checked on halfway through. Not the cheapest place in town, but worth every penny. Hey, its Beverly Hills and rent on Wilshire Blvd ain't exactly cheap. Long story short...phenomenal. AND! They deliver in downtown BH (Now if only they'd drive it to my house...) I work downtown and will probably go there 3-4 times per week for lunch.
Fresh Food, Slow Staff!!!.
the food is refreshing, the prices worth it but I can't stand the fact that you get jumped on by the staff upon arrival which catches you off guard and then once you order, the cooking staff is slow!
I recommend you study the menu before you get there as it has a lot of options and you won't have time to do there because the staff is staring at you and pressuring you to order
I recommend to call and order in advance and be specific onto when you are picking up your foods.
They got it goin on.....and the salads are BOMB!. WoW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I haven't been here since they opened an must I say I am very impressed. They have changed some things around on the menu but thats ok by me. The have really stepped up, the lady who took my order seemed like she knew what to recommend, my salad was ready in about 8min with ( that was with a full house). I love love love the lemon grass salad, and the wine I had with my husband was perfect with our dish. I am addicted to this place. Perfect to grab a bite before shopping.
restaurant, vegetarian, lunch spot.
I was very excited to try this place--great concept. But very disappointing execution. They messed up my order (added unwanted corn, omitted the chicken entirely and failed to actually chop the thing after asking me if i wanted it chopped!). Worse than that, some of the ingredients were tired or bland--how do you make blue cheese taste bland?--and the unrequested corn tasted like canned niblets.
Finally, their pricing policy is nothing short of incomprehensible.
For that kind of $, give me pricey, delicious Porta Via anytime.
Fantastic Fresh Salads. I love Greenleaf. It's in a great location in Beverly Hills, and it has fantastic food and drinks. My favorite salad is the Mexplosion, which has delicious Mex-Cal ingredients and delicious grilled shrimp. You'll find that all the salads have really fresh ingredients with lots of kick. It's the perfect place for a healthy, satisfying lunch. The owner, Jonathan, is amazing and very easy on the eyes!
