Very Nice Mini Spa
by kimberlylewis at Citysearch
I got a deal from Living Social for this Spa & it was very nice. The manager was very accomodating, sweet & professional. I was able to buy 3 more massages at a discount after the first massage & when I went back for the 2nd of the 3 massages, I discovered I has lost the certificates. I recieved an email from the owner a few days later saying she had everything documented & that they would honor my pre-paid sessions without the physical certificates! Wow, I wasn't expecting that! They DID have wonderful music playing during the massages & the rooms were not muggy at all. I guess they must have seen the review from a few months ago & did some improvements because my experience was awesome. The parking is a bit of a pain though, but ALL of Larchmont is a pain to park in!
WORST & MOST UNPROFESSIONAL OWNER!!!
by kirbee10 at Citysearch
Looked shady, spa was hidden upstairs, must pay for parking if you have anyluck finding a space on the streets. The massage room was muggy and sheets weren't clean. No music, no candles, no relaxing aromas floating around, ask for your own water, and nothing special at all. My masseuse was good even though they dont speak english. But owner treated the workers kinda rude.
A spa experience is suppose to be enjoyable but this is by far the worst....no stars
Great Day Spa on a Budget
by Hill LA at Citysearch
I have been going to this mini day spa on Larchmont Blvd. in Los Angeles for 5 years now. they have recently moved a few doors North and are in an upstairs unit now. Lu, who does the facials, is always calm and pleasant. She has remembered me each and every time I have come and has given prompt and courteous service. I have had facials at Aveda, Burke Williams, Ritz Carlton, FACES and hers is on par, if not better.
Maria is one of the massage therapists, and she was pleasant, on-time and courteous. She asked me how I like my massage and did a great job.
I was quite pleased with both of my services, and will continue to go there.
In these tough times when we want to still be nice to ourselves while watching every penny, Radiance of Life Mini Day Spa is a fabulous place to treat yourself and still have money left over for rent.
Best Kept Secret in LA
by RubyH at Citysearch
First off, let me tell you that I?ve been in 2 car accidents have lots of scar tissue and have been in chronic pain and soreness for some time. I?ve been to a myriad of massage therapists, including acupuncturists, chiropractors and rolfers.
I was referred to ?Radiance of Life? and have been back three times since. I think ?Radiance of Life? is the best-kept secret of LA. Lu gives the best deep tissue massage I have EVER had and I have experienced many! Lu is a wonder and a joy and her place is adorable, relaxing and inviting. She has surpassed everyone?s attempts at trying to get my muscles to relax and get my shoulders to go down. She knows exactly where and how to touch and the pressure she is capable of exerting is SUPER-HUMAN. Employing a variety of techniques according to what you need during the course of the hour, she does not stop until all of the kinks are worked out. As a result, the effects of her massage last for almost 2 weeks. Almost unheard of for someone in my condition!! I sleep better, I am more relaxed and at ease and I feel like exercising again. When she is finished with me, I forget I have a neck it is so relaxed. With each visit the success has been palpable, the chiropractor has also noticed and I can put my shoulders down again! As a diehard devotee of her massages, I will undoubtedly continue to drive all the way from the Valley to Larchmont. It is well worth it!
- Pros: An amazing price for an amazing massage!!!
Very worth the money

I must say I was very pleased today when I experienced this place. I have been reading online reviews of several places and when I cam e across this tiny larchmont spa with all good reviews I thought that there must be a catch. I made a phone call and they were extremely nice, gave me a first time discount and were very honest about all of there different options. Aside from not being the quietest spa i have been too I had to understand that for 44 dollars in wont be perfect. It was one of the better massage I have had in a long time. The ladies were very nice, a little flirty but definitely worth the 44 dollars I spent... I will definitely go back.
- Pros: Price, size and ease of getting in and out
