I walked by Calidora in the marina and debated on going in for about two weeks. There's a skin spa on every corner in LA. Anyway, I finally went in and made an appointment for the vi peel and didn't think much about it because it was two weeks away. A few days before, I was a little nervous so I went in for a consultation with Kelly. She patiently answered every question I had and made me feel at ease.

A few days later I went in for the peel. She cleansed my face thoroughly and explained every part of the procedure as she went along. I felt very reassured. She even checked up on me to see how my peel was going.

A week later everyone who saw me said my skin looked amazing. My acne scars aren't as bad and the sun discoloration is almost gone.

Two weeks later, my skin has a glow. I wear sunscreen and lip balm now. I don't feel the need to hide under makeup. I'm so happy.

Sadly, they closed the Marina location, but I'm following Kelly to their Santa Monica location. The woman knows skin. I can't imagine going to anyone else and I just won't.

Kim at Calidora gets AMAZING results...

I have seen Kim at the Santa Monica location now for about a year and I cannot speak enough of her praises. She has done such an amazing job on my skin and everyone comments now on my skin. The best part is that often I don't even have make up on when I get the compliments. I recommend her to all my friends and everyone that has gone to see her has been impressed with their results too :). What a better compliment than recommending her to others and then they can recommend.

Outside of her exceptional facial skills, she is such a kind heart too. I love my facial times as they are "catch up" times for us to talk., As one of the other reviwers mentioned she remembers the small stuff, no matter how long its been. The one last thing I have been most impressed with is her follow up skills! SHe is always checking in on me to see how my facial went and how my skin is responding. I love that and will continue to go and refer her years to come.

She is simply AMAZING!!!!

I have been seeing Kim there for years and she is absolutely the most caring and professional esthetician I have ever met! I tend to have oily skin and Kim takes note of my skin's condition each time I see her, and she remembers the little details, even if it's been weeks or months since my last visit.

She is very gentle and she uses the most wonderful ingredients to gently soothe and calm my skin--lavender, eucalyptus, camphor-- the scents are amazing and perfect, since I'm more of a natural therapy girl. It's great to know that a simple facial can make such a difference in how my skin looks and feels.

In fact, I was there recently for my birthday and I left looking and feeling ten years younger. I am not kidding, my husband even commented about how good I looked!

It's tough to find someone you can trust with something as delicate as your skin care, and I'm lucky to have found Kim. Thanks ;*)

I am so completely happy with my facials with Kim, the lead aesthetician at Calidora Santa Monica. She is absolutely amazing and the most knowledgeable aesthetician I have ever met. I highly recommend a facial with her!

I also am very pleased with the results I have had with the photo facials with Sherry and Jen.
