Oh, Ruben Oh, Ruben where art thou?. OMG I need a massage from Ruben asap. Since Body Bar closed for remodeling, I can not recieve a massage from the highly heralded Ruben. Phone message only says will open again in August. My aching body can't wait. You will not find hands like his, I promise. Manna from Heaven. If anybody knows Ruben's last name so I can reach out to him somehow via Facebook or any other way; please I like to know. His cell # will be better. I just can not phantom spending my money on anyone else.

YES! Finally an amazing Spa in Silverlake!. Wow, what an amazing experience. I recently received a facial at Body Bar with Janell. I am so satisfied with my renewed skin! Needless to say, I will be returning for regular facials! I am so excited that I don't have to drive all the way to Beverly Hills to receive great service. The spa is beautiful. I look forward to using the steam shower before my next treatment. I really found Janell's knowledge about skin refreshing and educational. Thank you, thank you Body Bar!!

Truly Exquisite Massage. My new favorite massuer, Ruben, has a beautiful touch. Recently booked for massage with Ruben, It was cathartic, pampering, & exquisite. I went in feeling like a beat up old lady. High stress & body aches. Left refreshed like I could take on the world. Good thing I booked the 80 minute b/c it was thorough & precise. I felt a warm personable energy while being showered with with an abundance of care from Ruben. I love his hands. I have become a loyal patron of Ruben & I will follow him anywhere.

Perfection from head to toe. I have been going to Body Bar for a couple of months and every time it gets better. The decor is beautiful and the vibe is great. I love that it's so relaxing and low key unlike most spas.

I usually get the same facial every visit but this time they actually created something that wasn't even on the menu. I had just got back from a vacation at the beach so my skin was really dehydrated and burned. I was definitely a high maintenance customer that needed a lot of attention. One hour later, my skin looked vibrant and perfect. I was so grateful! On my way out a stopped at their wax room and got my brows shaped. I'm officially addicted!

Silverlake needed a spa like this! Grade A. I also really enjoyed the chocolate with wine and private steam shower.

I'll def go back.

Body Bar is a great addition to Silverlake!. Body Bar is a great addition to Silverlake! The Spa is beautiful, the staff is so professional & Louise is the best facialist in town-I've been to many facialists and have never had such an amazing outcome from a treatment session. I did the microderm with a peel and the results were instantly recognizable! If you are looking to start your spring off right, book an appointment with Louise today!

Rene and Reuben dynamic Duo!. I agree with Pugs; Rene & Reuben are truly gifted in what they provide. Whenever money allows, I treat myself to a truly blissful, pampering massage by Reuben, then to an indulgent, nurturing facial by Rene. Both Therapists are creme de la creme. You will be hard pressed to find a better one two combo anywhere else in the greater L.A. area. I have met Louise on multiple visits, sad to say, she is the drawback to this wonderful oasis of a day spa; she seems to trashy; always in lowcut jeans. If I can see her tatoo above her hooha, then it is inappropiate. Otherwise, wonderful place, people.

one stop makeover destination. Talk about Full Service! Ruben is the best masseuse in town and Rene is an expert facialist. It's the perfect combo to cure what ails. And recently I met Louise, who is super knowledgeable about the products. I used to go to separate places for facials, massages, etc. Now I have a one stop destination that is a close to home and always has plenty of on street parking. Bye bye Beverly Hills. I've found perfection!

Miracle workers. I've gone to body bar for facials and massages at least 10 times since they opened and I love how the personalize each treatment depending on what's going on with my skin. They use Sircuit skin products which I was a big fan of before they started carrying them. They really work wonders!

Are YOU KIDDING ME?!!!!. I do not know how many times I have driven to Beverly Hills or the West-side to get spa treatments. NOT ANYMORE. This place was amazing. I saw the really cool bird on the building, it caught my eye so I stopped to check it out. The staff was very helpful and the vibe in the lobby was instantly relaxing. I went back for a treatment 3 days later. I got a hot stone fusion massage and it was nothing short of nirvana. My therapist Ruben should have streets named after him. It was that good. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Louise hipped me to some products for my face and my skin has never felt better. This is my new HOT SPOT!! All the funky cool vibe of silver lake with high end treatments and warm people. Lovin it!

Feeling fabulous. Louise is fabulously amazing. Her special attention to my specific skin needs was exactly what I needed. The spa is like a safe haven from the chaos outside and exactly what I was dying for after a long day at work. She's the only one I trust with my eyebrows too. While I was waiting they offered me a neck wrap, which was a pleasant surprise and definitely got me relaxed for my treatment. I completely recommend this place to everyone I know on the Eastside! It's my new Bliss.
