I am a 58 year old Personal Trainer who sees private clients and leads 10 groups a week who went way too long without getting a massage (four months). I started having a weird tightness in my gluteal/hamstring area that I just couldn't stretch out (and I'm the stretch queen). I went to my chiro who did the same thing he always does and I went to a spa to get a massage--which didn't work. I was beginning to get worried that something was seriously wrong with me. Carino is very close to my home and I had read amazing reviews on Yelp so I figured I would give Johnny Ray a try. After 3 very unique massages, I am finally feeling relief. Johnny is amazing and very intuitive about what is going on with your whole body. I have had many good massages but very few GREAT massages. Johnny is consistently in the GREAT catagory. Go there, you will love it!!! I wish I could see him daily.

I've been to masseuses on four continents and I never have had anything like the spectacular experience I had here. The owner did my massages. I wish I could afford to go every day. He knows everything about every technique there is and more. I just read a couple of the other reviews and was completely startled. Personally, I loved the hair brushing thing a lot. I was practically purring. Yes, the guy is fat, so if that bothers you...it will probably upset your rapport with him and you won't have the experience others have had. Fat and gifted...not a problem in my book. Feel free to contact me if you have questions.

It must be the owner & his friends who write the glowing reviews, because I just do not feel that it a was good massage. Mediocre at best. The decor is cute once you are able to find the place; it is hidden in some office building on Olympic. The ambience is lacking because curtains seperate the treatment rooms. I could hear the conversation from next treatment room loud & clear. I must say the therapist can defitnitely skip some dinners, he is just too fat. Unkept on top of that. He also sweats profusely; end of session, he was covered in sweat. Massage itself was below par. He has a thing about putting your legs in the most uncomfortable position. Please, I did not need my hair brushed, thank you. I'll leave that my hairstylist. I have recieved much better massages, this one is in my bottom five.
