After 4 decades of experience, it is fair to say that Wolfgang Zwiener learned his craft well. Taking the core principles from his years as Peter Luger's head waiter, Wolfgang didn't just duplicate an exceptional steakhouse; he improved upon it, making Wolfgang's Steakhouse extraordinary. Not only does Wolfgang's serve phenomenal porterhouse steak (for one, two, four or more), but the atmosphere, the expanded menu, the service and the accessibility of the location is appealing to even the most exacting diners.
This Beverly Hills steakhouse is proud to serve you with an amazing meal with the utmost in quality and service. Menu items include their signature Porterhouse, Filet Mignon, Ribeyes, Lamb Chops and Fresh Seafood dishes like meaty crab cakes, lobster and much more. Wolfgang?s Steakhouse is also available for private parties and events.

In Short
Deceptively conservative from the outside, this posh Bev Hills spot treats patrons to a traditional steakhouse scene: White linen tables, sturdy wood furnishings, an ornate, arched ceiling, and a beautiful 26-foot mahogany bar. The third in Wolfgang Zwiener's mini-chain and his first in Los Angeles, the restaurant relies on classic starters such as lobster cocktails, crabcakes and beefsteak tomato-and-onion salads. Entrees, too, are steakhouse standards: Dry-aged porterhouse for two, three or four; bone-in New York sirloin, lamb chops and filet mignon. Rounding out the menu are Wolfgang burgers piled high with cheese and bacon, a selection of fish, and sides including cottage fries, creamed spinach and sauteed mushrooms. For dessert, diners dive into apple strudel, cheesecake and hot fudge sundaes, all available with dollops of homemade "schlag" (whipped cream).

If you like a steakhouse-style steak (as opposed to a restaurant steak) , this place is for you. I really cannot fathom why this place has only gotten 3.5 stars so far. I've eaten quite often at other steakhouses in the area (Cut, STK), and while STK is very good, Wolfgang's is better, and cheaper also. The vibe is very traditional and not stuck up. This is my most frequented restaurant in LA, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I have been here twice. The first time was ok, not bad, not great. The second time was total douchebaggery!! I took my brother and 4 friends out for his birthday. We had an 8:30 reservation. We get there 5 minutes early and the hostess tells us it will be 5-10 minutes and to wait at the bar. 45 MINUTES LATER WE WERE STILL STRANDED AT THE BAR!! I blew them off and went to the Montage. F*** this place. I will never go back!!!
