In Short – Opened in May 2008, every bit of decor inside this extravagant shoe emporium is imported from Italy: All of the art on the walls, every rug, gold-threaded tapestry and fixture--including delicate door handles shaped liked shoes--and it shows. At once formal, this sprawling space is also cheerful and feminine, and the staff is notably warm and courteous, which shouldn't be such a big deal, but it is.
