The warm ceramic tile and the brightly colored walls give this restaurant the feel of a cozy Spanish-style home. The crowd ranges from large parties of drinking college kids to families looking for a reasonably priced meal. The tostadas are a definite highlight; oversized shells are made daily and packed full of fresh beans, rice and veggies. MMM Margaritas. This is a great little family owned joint that serves great greasy Mexican food and fabulous margaritas. I love the enchiladas and tostadas. This place is wonderful for a nice margarita and a hearty Mexican feast! The portions are large for a good price. The atmosphere is a little noisy and the wait can be long. So go early or late to beat the rush.

Excellent margaritas and old-school mexican food. This place is not for those into fancy, trendy decor -- pretty basic tables/booths/chairs and a standard mexican-themed ambiance (murals, etc). The margaritas are really, really good and so is the food. I like the Chicken Tostada and also the bean and cheese burrito is great. It's pretty kid-friendly like most of Agoura (my husband and I like to go but we've also brought our child when she was 1 and 1.5). The service is consistently pretty good. The refried beans are always how I judge a Mexican restaurant, and these are GREAT-- not too greasy, but not healthy-new-wave either-- just really perfect and tasty!!! The chips and salsa are also fantastic. Highly recommend for good down-home Mexican food in Agoura!

Best Margaritas in the Area. As a loyal customer for many years now, I can honestly say that Latigos margaritas are second to none. In fact, I challenge anyone to find a better cadillac margarita - Latigo's is simply the best! Fabulous service, especially from the friendly gentlemen behind the bar, and chips and salsa to die for. Their deep-fried ice cream is always worth it, so remember to order it when you go. Great place for both family dinners and those seeking a low-key Mexican Cantina atmosphere.
