packages/contract SCAM. I had been a "member" of Le Beach Club (Beverly Blvd) for years, just paying a monthly fee until they said they weren't offering it anymore and that I had to buy a package deal or single tans. That's where they pulled the scam.

You buy packages with a certain amount of tans, but what they don't tell you is that they expire. The manager said that you buy a membership, and memberships expire after a year. The package I bought said 20 tans, with no indication of expiration, since there was a specific number.....long story short, I moved away for 6 months, didn't use the tans and they "expired". The manager said that he would give me back the tans I had ALREADY PURCHASED if I would buy more. Let me see, buy more when I had already have 10 tans left? On top of it, he could not provide any signature or proof that I agreed (signed) any contract stating they expire. I called a couple times and he wouldnt get back to me. I LOST OUT ON HALF OF MY "PACKAGE DEAL" or about $125.

THERE ARE A LOT OF OPTIONS OUT THERE, I WOULD SUGGEST GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THEY ARE MORE PROFESSIONAL AND HONOR WHAT YOU PURCHASED.

New location @ The Grove. After reading some of the negative reviews on other Le Beach Club locations I was weary of trying this new location... However, since I live across the street, I decided to give it a shot. All I have to say is, I love this salon! I used to tan at Ibiza Tan on Fairfax, and this place knocks them out of the water!!! At Ibiza, I had to tan 5 times to see color, at Le Beach it olny took 2! Their prices are higher than Ibiza Tan, but in my opinion worth the $. The salon is very spa like & clean & the beds rock so I don't need to tan as often. When you walk in, you know you are in L.A., the girls that work there must be models & this is their part time gig... No creepy hairy old guy or high school kids working here! In my book, you get what you pay for.

Awesome Change!. I've been a Le Beach Club client for a few years now. When this new location opened up close to a friend's house I am frequently at, I was so happy! I love their equipment, love the cleanliness of all their locations, and the sales people are great. And SO convenient for a great afternoon....love that the location is close to the Farmer's Market!
