In Short – This is likely the most rocking diner spot in Hollywood since Beck was seen eating fried chicken at Fred 62 back in the "Odelay" era. Saturday mornings find laconic punk tunes washing over grungy tattooed rockers nursing hangovers at the DIY bloody mary bar; weekend brunch is a crush with a farmer's market crowd vying for Challah-Lujah French toast and garden benedicts. Designed by Kris Keith (Goa, Ortolan), the retro-luxe diner has arty-design touches like welded silverware lamps, chrome fixtures and a snazzy terrazzo horseshoe bar. Late night becomes a scene unto itself as…

I love this place. Great food. Great people. And last week I saw Macy Gray spinning in their high-rise DJ booth. Sweet. I try to make here once a week. Sometimes more. HIGHLY recommended.

The Steak Salad is AMAZING

by netridah at Citysearch

The steak salad is amazing. Really great quality steak, i'm craving it now. The atmosphere is pretty cool and I like that it has a full bar. Usually head out here to pregame before heading to a bar/lounge down the street.

  • Pros: great vibe, full bar, great quality food
  • Cons: gets crowded on weekend nights

Great go-to spot!

by sueinthepark at Citysearch

I came here for the first time when a friend came to visit from out of town. We wanted to go somewhere cool, but with a comfy, laid-back menu. My friend ordered the veggie chili and said it was the best she's ever had. I'm a vegetarian, and asked about their home-made veggie burger. Our waiter said it was the best he's ever had, so I took his recommendation and ordered it. Presentation was great, sweet potato fries were close to perfect. The chick-pea based patty was, well...hot hummus. It was good for a hot hummus burger, but the best veggie burger ever? Not so much. Move on to another menu item.

We didn't stay for dessert, but we did leave with a list of things we want ti try on our next visit.

The prices were surprisingly awesome. You's expect to be paying a lot more for a place this cool. Unfortunately, you end up handing over whatever you may be "saving" over to the $10 evening valet.

The waiters working this night were fantastic! My friend kept referring to Elmo, our waiter for the rest of her trip!

Overall, I can't wait to go back.

  • Pros: Great vibe, great menu!
  • Cons: Valet a bit pricey
