Loved It!. I love Camp Best Friends! My boyfriend took his Boston Terrier there for years and he loved it (my boyfriend and his dog!). We just got a German Shepherd and I was worried about leaving her so they let us drop her off for a few hours the week before and pick her up the same day, free of charge, just to see how she did. When we picked her up she was having a great time! It's clean and the staff is so sweet. They even remembered my boyfriend and his previous dog and he hadn't been there in years! I asked them to give her a bath and clip her nails before we pick her up after the holidays and they said they would only clip her nails if she let them, because they " want her to trust" them! It's clear they really care about the animals. I trust them completely and wouldn't bring my dog anywhere else. Bonus: There is a 24 hour vet a block away!

never had a bad experience,. I have been bringing my dogs to CAMP BEST FRIENDS in West Los Angeles for the past 10 years. I have never had a bad experience, neither have my dogs. They have always come home happy and in good spirits. The staff is very attentive and they take all my dogs health concerns seriously. I have referred friends and co-workers to them and they only have good things to say. In my opinion, and my dogs, its the best!!!

They truly love and pamper dogs here. They truly love and pamper dogs here. I tried A LOT of kennels in LA and it was ultimately the only place I ever used and where I felt my dog who had many health and emotional issues was truly safe and really loved up, and he lived til 18!

caring people. Always welcomed with smiles and greetings. Our dogs love going there and we feel very comfortable leaving them with caring people!

great kennel!. Great Kennel! I was so happy to find Camp Best Friends. I travel every month and they are like a home away from home. My dogs run and scratch on the door to get in. They have a special air system and a super staff of caring pet lover's. My dogs always come to me happy and never smelly like in the other kennels I've tried. "This is the place to keep your pets."

KENNEL COMPARABLE TO A POUND..... The name of this establishment definitely does not reflect its operations. This kennel is more like a pound than a pet boarding facility. Camp Best Friends leads one to believe that their pet will be treated like a member of the family. However, after having my dog boarded there for the weekend, I discovered that dogs are not given any walks and receive little to no interaction with other dogs or any humans (other than having their food and water bowls filled). The minimal time that your dog is given outside of his/her cage is in a small, bare, concrete area where he/she is let out on his own. Needless to say, I am highly disappointed at the level of care (or more correctly, the lack of care) that Camp Best Friends provides. While the facility's lobby and personnel may appear shiny and friendly, if you love your pet, you will think twice before leaving him/her at this kennel.
