One of Malibu's best-kept secrets is also one of the most private beaches in SoCal..
In Short
Part of a state park comprised of the coastal cliff area just north of Zuma Beach, this rocky and caved coastline offers an escape from other more popular Malibu beaches. The beach is perfect for a romantic sunset, or a private beach day due to the nature of the coast--the jagged rocks split off the shoreline, creating private alcoves for groups of friends to relax and enjoy.
Best kept malibu beach secret. If you're looking for a quiet, secluded beach for a date or something, this is it. By far my favorite beach in the Malibu area, maybe even on the West Coast. There is incredibly scenery all the way around, good sand though not a ton of space. If you climb around on the rocks a bit you can find a couple secluded caves that are perched above little ocean inlets. Definitely a cool place to explore/take a date. It's kind of hard to find, and if you blink you'll miss the sign, if you see the sign for Leo Carillo you've gone too far, and if you're at Broad beach you haven't gone far enough.
