What People Are Saying About Much Love Animal Rescue
Much Love for Much Love Animal Rescue!
by nswolf at Citysearch
Much Love rescues dogs and cats from the high-kill city and county shelters. Much Love is all volunteer run and a no-kill program. I've adopted three of my four animals from Much Love. Two of my animals, one dog and one cat, had health issues that would have resulted in their deaths at the shelter had Much Love not rescued them. Once Much Love rescues an animal they spare no expense to give them everything that they need. They are super picky about who adopts their animals and they should be! They have an application and then do a home check for all animals and choose the home that is best for the animal. And they do all of this with a completely volunteer base! Plus they will always always take their animals back if the adopter can't keep them. Animals are in foster homes so they are socialized to be in a home setting. They even offer a free training session with a professional dog trainer for everyone who adopts a dog from them. They do mobile adoptions every Saturday in Venice and every Sunday in Santa Monica. Seriously one of the best animal rescue groups in Los Angeles!
- Pros: they put the animals first
- Cons: need more money so they can have a facility too
Best Dog Rescue in LA!!
by Katie T at Citysearch
I have adopted both of my dogs through Much Love. Unlike some other places, all ML dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy before adoption.
They are a great organization and get to know the dogs well before placing them in a forever home. All pets are in foster care before adoption where their personalities can be determined. This helps a lot with rehoming - helps to make a great match.
- Pros: All are spayed/neutered, chipped, vaccinated before adoption
- Cons: none
