Tips for Much Love Animal Rescue

Fantastic animal rescue!. I've been volunteering with Much Love for the past six years, and am constantly impressed with their dedication to the animals. They screen foster homes and permanent homes carefully to make sure the dogs and cats will be happy there. I recently adopted two terrific cats from them. I'd recommend Much Love to anyone looking for a pet.

Best Animal Rescue Group. I foster dogs with Much Love and I have to say that for a volunteer based non profit group they are EXTREMELY organized. When I first decided to become a foster I had to fill out an application, which felt like it was a novel. Once that was done they had to send someone over to do a house check. They just want to make sure that your house is adequate enough for a dog. I live in a townhouse with no yard so having a large size dog will not work in my environment. I like that they even home check their fosters.

With my first foster I got a dog that was pulled from the an animal shelter the previous day. They keep all of their dogs in a 10 day quarantine so that they don't get any other dogs ill. Once that is done the dog can be taken to one of the mobile pet adoptions. Saturday, is on Abbot Kinney and Venice and Sunday, is on Main St. in Santa Monica by the Farmers Market. You leave them there for the day and then pick them up at the end.

My first dog got adopted by the 2nd pet adoption and my second one got adopted within 5 min of her first pet adoption. I now have my 3rd foster and it is so addicting. I love that I have the opportunity to be able to save a dogs life and to give it a second chance to live a long and happy one.

The best part about Much Love for me is that they are extremely organized and I believe that is why they get adopted so quickly.

I am now on my third foster dog and each time it just gets easier. Please check out their site.

Much Love for Much Love Animal Rescue!. Much Love rescues dogs and cats from the high-kill city and county shelters. Much Love is all volunteer run and a no-kill program. I've adopted three of my four animals from Much Love. Two of my animals, one dog and one cat, had health issues that would have resulted in their deaths at the shelter had Much Love not rescued them. Once Much Love rescues an animal they spare no expense to give them everything that they need. They are super picky about who adopts their animals and they should be! They have an application and then do a home check for all animals and choose the home that is best for the animal. And they do all of this with a completely volunteer base! Plus they will always always take their animals back if the adopter can't keep them. Animals are in foster homes so they are socialized to be in a home setting. They even offer a free training session with a professional dog trainer for everyone who adopts a dog from them. They do mobile adoptions every Saturday in Venice and every Sunday in Santa Monica. Seriously one of the best animal rescue groups in Los Angeles!

Best Dog Rescue in LA!!. I have adopted both of my dogs through Much Love. Unlike some other places, all ML dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy before adoption.

They are a great organization and get to know the dogs well before placing them in a forever home. All pets are in foster care before adoption where their personalities can be determined. This helps a lot with rehoming - helps to make a great match.
