Murder at Matteo's was great.

This was my 30th. a total surprise. Never done a murder mystery before but it was a blast. My side still aches from laughing and the food was the best. Thanks to everyone who totally tricked me into going!

Incredible Show and Food!!! Rebuttle

I could not disagree with the person who wrote a review on 2/15/2009. I went on Valentine's Day, so I am going to assume that we were both there the same day.

The room was a little tight, but they told us in the beginning of the night that they were sorry about it (accidental overbooking).

The cast of the show was incredible, that I will agree with. The service and especially the food, were incredible.

Even though it was a little cramped in that room, everyone made the best of it and laughed it off.

Thanks Murder Mystery for your fun staff and to Matteo's Restaurant too for the fish!!!!

Entertaining but lousy food

We had never been to a murder mystery dinner before and we paid about $75 per person. We were packed into a small room. It took a long time to get started and were seated and served buckets and buckets of bread while we paid extra for our drinks. When dinner came is was pretty lousy (which is why they filled us up on bread and booze).

The saving grace was the entertainment and audience engagement.

This would have rocked if not for being filled up on bread and some pathetic chicken.

• Pros: lots of fun
• Cons: crappy food for the price
