Easy, one-stop shopping for beauty product connoisseurs.. The Scene
Touting itself as the "ultimate lifestyle beauty store," this L.A.-based chain lives up to its self-generated hype with an exhaustive selection of personal care goodies. All sorts of folks lose themselves in sampling the wares, which include a generous stock of men's hair care products. The staff is helpful if advice is solicited.

The Goods
Skin care brands range from Guinot to Murad to the popular Celex C, while hair products include the likes of Okara, Phtyo, Pure, Kramesi, Abba and a myriad of others lining the shop's wide walls. Men's hair care includes Nioxin, Crew and Decleor. Candles, scented oils and fragrances like Demeter are plentiful, as are an impressive array of professional-quality curling irons and hair dryers. Salon services are available in the rear of the store.
