Rotors Replaced

I went in for brake pad replacement and they found that I needed to replace the rotors. I believe the previous place I got my brakes done might have screwed them up.

Had to come in for 2 separate visits due to ordering of the rotors. 2nd time didn't charge me tax or labor which was awesome. Yeah rotors range about 30-60$ each on the internet. But nice people.

Eagle Auto rules!

UN-helpfultips, I have a couple of simple questions, which I know you don't have a reasonable answer for (see, I am making assumption like you do):

1. How did the smog shop "insist" you have a diagnostic at Eagle Auto? Did they hold a gun in your face? Or did they drag you over there forcibly? just curious.

2. Why didn't you leave upon being asked to pay $80 for a diagnostic and go get a second opinion in the first place? Is it because of a general lack of wit or what?

3. How is it that you are "sure" there were others who lost a lot more? How many unhappy customers have you talked to in reaching this conclusion? Do you have names? You are making a baseless statement and this kind of attitude might get you in trouble someday.

Don't bother responding. Everyone around me and myself have been and will continue to be long time customers of Eagle Auto and nothing you say about them will change this.

Avoid this place if you don't want to get ripped off!

I went for a smog only test and was told that i had to have a diagnostic done on the car next door first for a charge of $80 prior to the smog. After 3 hours i was told that i had to have a part replaced at a cost of $288 plus labor. I said i would think about it and drove away. I went straight to the 76 down the road and explained what had happened. They then did a test on the car and revealed that 'fresh' oil had been added to an intake valve. They cleaned the valve and told me to drive it for a day and then bring it back for a test. I did...and it passed. The smog only next to Eagle Auto Repair are both run by the same people. Only later was i told that it's illegal to have an interest in a mechanical repair shop within a 50 mile radius. Beware...if you go in for a smog...they will insist you go next door to have a diagnostic at Eagle Auto. I only lost $80 but i'm sure people have lost alot more.

Fantastic diagnostic

About a few weeks ago I took my car to dealership for a repair and after keeping the car for several days they were not able to fix it and told me that it is going to cost me $2K to change the computer. After that I decided to sell the car since it only worth about $4K. But before putting it on the paper I took it for a detail job and attendant on the car wash referred me to Eagle Auto Repair. So I though why not get a second opinion on it and I took it in. After I took the car in he had the car for about half a day and he called and told me that he found the problem and it is going to cost me with labor about $350. I didn?t know what to say and since I was so pleased, I decided to write this letter instead. I am highly recommending Eagle auto to everyone because of the fantastic service they give and also staffs are where professional.

Best Diagnostic Skills with Great Customer Service

Eagle Auto Repair has exceptional customer service. I've had issues with my automobile for several months , the check engine light would not turn off. I've been to several shops and a dealership and spend a great deal of money, but the problem was not resolved. I took my car to Eagle Auto Repair expecting the same results as previously, but Edwin's diagnostic skills are excellent, he was able to fix my car. I highly recommend Eagle Auto Repair, besides for their exceptional diagnostic skills, they are very friendly with great customer service.
