Shadan is the one to see for all of your hair needs.... I am very particular about who touches my hair and being of mixed race, not everyone knows how to care for and style my hair. Shadan is wonderful at what she does. She listens to the customer's needs and maintains a very professional atmosphere for her clients. Her recommendations from shampoos to the latest hairstyles are unique to the client as an individual. You definitely leave the salon with confidence that you look fabulous and on your next visit, return to Shadan knowing that she will take precious care of your hair. Her personality is as beautiful as she is, very down-to-earth. Ask for Shadan, you definitely wont regret it!

Ask for Sonia!. I don't usually write reviews, but Sonia at XS Salon & Spa is outstanding! In Sonia, I finally found a stylist who doesn't take me for granted and who listens to my concerns about my hair. She's patient and caring, and a true professional who really knows her stuff about color, cut and style. I think she makes her own appointments. Her cell number is (818) 399-7739.

Richard Vasquez is CREATIVE!. This is a way overdue review of Richard Vasquez’s hair artistry! Simply put he’s great at his job. He’s creative, unafraid to take on a challenge, and encourages his customer’s participation in figuring out a hairstyle and color. I respect that considering a lot of hair stylists seem to give you a style that they think is best without seeking the customer’s input. Richard on the other hand asks his customers questions, discusses ideas and makes it pretty evident that his priority is for his customers to like their hair at the end. Don’t get me wrong, if you want him to do whatever he thinks is best, he’ll do that as well. What I really enjoy about engaging him as my hair stylist is that he loves what he does! And as we all know, a man who loves what he does and is totally immersed in it, coupled with his efforts to please his clients, makes for a rewarding experience at the end- I have left loving my hair each of the 6 times I’ve seen him over the last 3 years! I highly recommend Richard to someone who’s looking for a creative stylist who’s not afraid to push the conventional fashion sense. He has often mixed custom hair colors for me to suit my taste and skin and diligently worked on my hair every single time. He does have a spunky personality as well to keep you entertained through your visit!

My hair has NEVER looked better!. I have blonde hair, and as my fellow blondies know its hard to keep up with the cool blonde tones so when you find someone who knows what theyre doing- STAY. I have searched for years for a stylist who knew what they were doing- ive been through the WORST experiences... bleach has ran and burned my scalp, chunks of hair fell out, extremely damaging products, no help at all.... everything. But then i found ASHLEY!!!! and thank god...... she knows exactly what she is doing and i trust her 100000%. When i explained to her what i wanted she gave me exactly what i described. My hair wasnt yellow, or brassy, or white. I twas a perfect combo of blonde tones. Plus, she is super cute and friendly. I will continue seeing her for as long as i can!

Dont miss out on the best stylists in the SF Valley!!. Shadan has been my hair guru for the past 5yrs shes amazing!! She's always been able to help me with my hair disasters when I get the experimental itch :/ soo bad I know but she's always there to help with damage control. lol She's also pretty flexible and tries to work with your schedule.

Best Stylists in Sherman Oaks. I was looking for a new salon and stylist since the stylist I had gone to for a while moved to another state. I was lucky enough to look into the reviews for this salon and as everyone had raved about Richard, I decided to take the plunge. I need not have worried in the least - Richard was absolutely perfect - in my haircut and in renewing the color with some highlights. My hair is extremely fine and thin and it looks the best I've seen in a long time. Thank you, wonderful Richard, and his gracious assistant Marik (sorry if I misspelled) for the extra time you put in to make this lady very happy. I'll see you guys soon again!

Best Salon in Sherman Oaks. A few years ago some evil stylist bleached my sh*t out of my hair and destroyed it. I was walking by this salon and Richard coaxed me in. I asked who was the best colorist and Nas(the owner) referred me to Ashley. I've been seeing her every since and have referred all of my friends to her for everything from cuts, colors to brazillian blowouts and everyone loves her. She always leaves me hair super shiny and SUPER soft but most importantly healthy. She's also a fun person to chat with considering I'm usually there for a few hours. I'm naturally brunette but she colors my hair once and month and highlights every other month to give me the perfect blonde for my skin tone etc.. All in all this salon rocks I'm always happy when I leave everyone is friendly and sweet and the prices are great, Ashley saved my hair! P.s. Nas does amazing extensions and doesn't charge an arm and a leg!

Ashley Does Great Hair. I love going to this salon. Everyone there is super cool. I see Ashley. She is amazing at color. In fact I have a date tonight and I am going there in a few hours. Love the ways she does my blow out. She is so good at making my hair look sexy. Everyone needs a great hairstylist shes mine.
