great beers, cool bar, great place, decent prices
Fun place especially on week nights.. Interesting place. Good food. Not too many hipsters. Bartenders are the best.
Great place. I've lived in Silverlake for a little over two years now and always drive by Sunset on a weekend going out night. I decided to get off of my lazy butt and try some of these places out. I came to this place blindly and instantly loved it. I feel its what a tapas bar should be, if I even knew what that was. It has great Beers for decent prices and they offer non traditional bar snacks. Try the cheese plate. It's pretty small, so get there early to get a table or just partition your own space on the cool bar. The bartenders are hot and they play DJ too. Its a place that isn't too hipster with its PBR flowing. I guess its a hipster spot for the really intellectuals.
Vinyl records blast the Rolling Stones as beer enthusiasts choose from a small selection of brews on tap and straightforward snacks at this revamped Echo Park bar..
In Short
Mitchell Frank, owner of legendary Eastside music dives Spaceland and the Echo, has traded neon signs and Corona posters for orange glass wall panels and heavy oak furniture at his remodeled beer bar. The former low-key watering hole today serves up eight specialty brews on tap, as well as a litany of '70s rock tunes (vinyl only, thank you very much). Current beer offerings are inscribed nightly with white marker on the mirror behind the bar. A wine list is also available, along with a handful of small plates of fruit, cheese and meat.
