fresh tasty food, knowledgeable staff, good service, best bbq kosher, really like chicken wrap, excellent barbeque brisket, fresh sushi

A kosher meal with incredibly great service, bakery (the pretzel is beyond good!), and recipes for some at-home discovery. Order the Schwar-guez and cous cous Maison.
Not great.
Food is inconsistant. I usually order a nicoise lunch at both the old restaurant AND the NEW restaurant. I went for dinner once and tried to order the nicoise salad and it was soarly dissapointed. It wasn't not even the same salad and they skimped on a lot of the ingredients! When I asked about it the said they had a "night crew" and a "day crew" that do different things with the food. I dont care who prepares it, I just want my usual salad!
Worse is the service, they said that the night crew doesn't prepare the lunch menu items and that I should have been ordering from the dinner menu. I would have but it was never offered! There were three different wait staff who spoke about the food and not one apologized for the sub-par salad or not offering a the dinner menu in the first place.
Got Kosher, tries to be gourmet and tries to offer service when they say "we'll take care of it". But at the end of the day it's a $10-$15 plate kind of place so you can't expect a lot and you can be sure the staff doesn't either.
Kosher on another level. the small kosher deli on pico (a little hard to find) is the best la kosher food i've had so far. i love their pretzel challah my family buys on shabbat dinner, its sooo good! and the middle eastern/moroccan salads they sell in the case are really tasty. love coming here for dinner, definitely recommend it. Hope they expand!
I can't believe it's kosher1. Really! Excellent food. Fresh. Healthy. I really like the chicken wrap and tunisian sandwich. Barbeque brisket was excellent. Good sushi, too. Great find for the LA kosher community. Nice folks and good service, too.
Don't Believe the Lie; Best Gourmet Restaurant quality food for takeout prices!!!.
What can I say regarding the previous post...I called the RCC; there is no claim that has ever been filed. Sadly, I feel someone is trying to smear a great business for our community. The food from start to finish was simply the best. Restaurant quality food at take out prices. Finally, a kosher place that caters to those of us who want gourmet food. They make themed foods everyday of the week. From Indian food on Monday's to Asian on Tuesday, Italian on Wednesday, Moroccan on Thursday, Ashkenazi on Fridays 7 the best BBQ kosher or otherwise on Sundays. There staff is friendly and knowledgeable and has consistently gone out of their way to provide service even though they are technically a counter service establishment.
Specifically to what I ate. I had "Alain's Tunisians Tuna Sandwich" which was great! They make their own Harissa sauce which was just right. It reminded me of my wife's harissa and she's Israeli Moroccan! I also had their pareve cheescake...equally amazing! If you like kosher gourmet food...go visit Got Kosher and judge for yourself. Clean, Friendly and well priced.

Best Kabob. Hmmm I had the most delicious chicken kabob with garlic sauce. Their menu has from panini sandwiches to fresh sushi and tasty food to go!
