overcooked usual fav pork cutlet curry, overcooked pork, not generally like chicken cutlet, very reasonable price, love white sauce, like hurry curry, not recommend place

With delicious spicy curry, fried chicken pasta and a great happy hour, this crowded little spot is great for a quick bite or a late night dinner.

Affordably priced Japanese comfort food in the form of beef, chicken, pork or veggie curry dishes over rice or spaghetti. The strip mall's valet service eases the parking problem of congested Sawtelle Boulevard.

Don't let the name fool you, it doesn't taste like the curry was made in a hurry.
Great lunch spot!. This is a great spot for a quick lunch in West LA. The service is top notch and the Chicken Cutlet Curry is the best! It's their signature dish so you gotta try it at least once.
Yummy yummy curry. I'm surprised curry spots didn't make it on the most recent round-up of the Sawtelle corridor...it's a favorite food among the Japanese-American community and there are lots of options when it comes to finding a curry restaurant. Hurry Curry is one of the best, in my opinion. It's a cute little restaurant tucked away in the plaza across fr Nijiya market, and has all the traditional curry dishes - pork, chicken cutlet, tofu, veggie, ground beef - you name it. You can go crazy looking for parking but there is valet; and it's close to so many other shops of interest that the entire trip to the Westside is worth it.
OH GOD!!!! YES!!!. i love hurry curry!!! staff is great...food is amazing. be careful when you go...you'll probably get addicted! lol
Great Japanese Curry. It opens at 11 am. Please change the hours of operation! The food is awesome and the servers are friendly!
tasty and cheap, me likey!. i've been to hurry curry a few times, after my friends raved about how yummy it was and how cheap the entire menu is. being a student, cheap is my magic word! overall, a wonderful, charming little place - gives you that authentic feel because the tables are shoved so close to each other you bump elbows with your fellow diners. 5-star service, in my opinion - waitstaff and hosts are pleasant, quick, attentive, and intelligent. i love that you can get a huge meal and an asahi for under $15! also, take some time to stroll the rest of the shopping center - there is an awesome crepes stand and cute little stores to browse through. valet the car - it's on a tip-only basis. if you enjoy this kind of food, you will love this place - for the great prices, friendly staff, quick service, and most importantly, delicious curry!
Delicious Curry!. First off, I'd like to say that I'm no expert on Japanese curry, but I love the chicken cutlet at Hurry Curry. I don't know what it is, but I get cravings for that dish kinda regularly. After starting with a little ginger salad, you get a large panko-breaded chicken cutlet, a little mound of rice, and a bowl of dark delicious curry sauce to combine as you like. Very different from Thai or Indian curry, but delicious and definitely worth a try. The meal is pretty big and very filling, and if you're not starving it's most definitely enough to share with a friend. The only part about my Hurry Curry experiences that I haven't liked is the one time that I tried the pomegranate sake martini--not my favorite drink, but I'll definitely be back for the chicken cutlet curry!
It's going down hill. I've been going to Hurry Curry for almost 10 years. I used to LOVE this place but after reading the recent reviews on here I was concerned. Sure enough, I went back. The Tokyo curry is my favorite. It's really good, cheap food. But now they don't even give you a full bowl of curry so you're left with all this rice and not enough meat and sauce to go over it. I'm so bummed! Parking can be tricky but the valet is always helpful.
Curry like my mom would make. Tasty homey flavors! It's good, but nothing out of this world. Curry is like Mac and Chees to rest of america. It't a comfort food for many Japanese and Koreans. I like it there cuz it's like a homecooked meal for me.
Delicious pasta dishes. When I first went to Hurry Curry, I'd have to say I was a bit disappointed by their curry dishes- they were pretty watered down for my taste. But when I went a second time, I ordered a chicken pasta dish, and it was very tasty. The space is a bit cramped and the parking is pretty difficult (it's a small lot, so you might have to find parking in the neighborhood), but it's a decent place to go if you're not planning to order a curry dish.
