They started out just serving cereal but we are thankful they have expanded their breakfast menu and added lunch. The sandwiches are awesome, the owner is equally as awesome and the outdoor seating is best for people watching on this up and coming avenue.

Wonderful breakfast/lunch spot. This place is a little gem. My husband and daughter (4 year old) visit Flake for breakfast whenever mom wants to sleep in. I visit whenever I can. They treat my family well. The menu is delicious and the portions are generous. The cafe has a cool beachy vibe. The staff are very welcoming and parking is a cinch too. It's worth a visit.
