Awesome Service. We eat here for lunch every week and the food is amazing, consistent and never lets us down. They use the right amount of sauces and ingredients and the meat comes out very tender. Love it! Plus the service is great, even when its busy!

Good Food Every Time. Don't go there for the service, which sometimes leaves to be desired. I've been there quite a few times and their service has been consistently inconsistent (i.e. some days great and friendly, other days *shrug*). With that out of the way, their deep fried pork chops, I forget the name of the dish, are really good. Pan fried noodles house special style are great. Wonton soup is very good. Parking can be bad, but you can always find a spot in one of the back streets off sawtelle (the neighborhood is safe).

Good Consistant Dinner. I first ordered from here on a recommendation from a friend. The tangerine chicken and garlic beef are both consistently good. And the vegetables are very good as well (black mushrooms and broccoli). It is nothing fancy but if you are looking for a decent Chinese restaurant for pick-up or a quick bite, this is a good spot. Note: there is a pinkberry about half a block away so you can run over there after dinner.

Not just bad Chinese...BAD FOOD PERIOD!!!!. We ate there about 45 minutes ago, and it was not only the worst Chinese Food I've ever had, but it was some of the worst food I've ever had. The server said they just remodeled and had previously been closed for three months. This is the Chinese place closest in proximity to Hurry Curry.

It was God-Awful!!! Usually you see people at the surrounding tables of a restaurant commenting to one another on the food, they're nodding their heads, it's anmated and they seem to be enjoying the fare, usually. This was the complete opposite experience. People had the most disappointed (almost disgusted) expression on their faces. It was a horrible experience and frankly...and I'm not kidding...I'm really scared I'm going to be sick six hours from now! My husband expressed the same concern. The food was very colorful, which made the reality all the more deceiving and disappointing! The green beans popped with color, everything looked delectable. Must have been tons of MSG to make the colors appear so bright, because the food was as close to inedible as I've ever experienced. I'm very upset about this unpleasant out come. Dining out should be a pleasant experience, not something that ends up making you scared you're going to get sick! if either my husband, or I get sick, I'm going to do everything I can to expose this restaurant. They ought to be ashamed enough as it is...serving horrifically bad food!

Whoever is putting these wonderful reviews up about this restaurant has GOT to be either a familial relation or at best, depending on Little Hong Kong Cafe for their livelihood! DO NOT EAT THERE! I PROMISE YOU...YOU WILL THANK ME!

Pan-fried Noodles AHOY!. Without a doubt, the best Pan-fried noodles in the City of Los angeles.

BYO X ( if B= beer, and W= wine, then solve for X). The service was usually decent when I went, however the bathroom was through a service alleyway...not the most clean. But for a fun time , cheap and amazing eats, this is the place.

When I last went ( 10/05/07) it was closed. I'm hoping it was for construction...but it looked otherwise.

Perfect place to have a late night meal. Good place to eat late at night, they are open really late. The food is tasty, a bit too greasy for my taste but tasty. The service is typical Chinese, on the marginal side with staff coming across with a bit of an attitude but in reality it is just cultural differences and nothing else. Price is very good, Parking is messy, and the decor is non-existence. As I said, perfect place to have a late night meal or take out.

Worst Service. Great Food.. I love the food here, but i refuse to go again, because the service is so bad and the people who work there are usually really really unfriendly, almosty mean. The last time i went we waited 45 minutes at our table, then the waitress, matter-of-factly, told us that they forgot to start cooking our food. They didn't say, "Sorry", "Thanks for waiting", or offer us drinks. We said we'd rather leave than wait, and they just said, "OK". I was soo bummed.

The food is good though. My favorite is the Blak Pepper Chicken with Chow Fun noodles.

Good luck.

Good food, hard to park sometimes. Good luck finding a parking spot in this minimal for dinner! I highly recommend the chicken soup. It sounds basic but is very hearty and a meal in-and-of itself! Their kung pao chicken was decent and their noodle dishes are good. Sometimes service can be slow as they have to walk down the single long corridor and sometimes only have one person taking care of the entire room.

Horrible Service!. I used to love this place. Its Chinese food is one of the best in LA yet the service doesn't even meet mediocre. I went one afternoon and asked for chopsticks and then hot sauce, and the service looks at me, throws his hands up in to the air and says "ANYTHING ELSE? WHY CAN'T YOU JUST ASK FOR EVERYTHING IN ONE GO?" I was shocked! Then our food came out and there were whole ROCKS in them. Nonetheless its a great place to go if you just want food and not service (and you are wiling to risk picking some rocks out of your food!)

Good, greasy pan fried noodles... Hong Kong style.. I love pan fried noodles Hong Kong style, and theirs is good, the place has no character, strip mall with horrible parking issues. But the food is good, used to be better under the previous owner, but still pretty good, and the service is friendly, and the best is that you can get fed for under $10.00. Good everyday place.
