Awww - -it's really cute!

This tiny restaurant is tucked away in what, at first glance, appears to be an abandoned building. However, once you go inside, you feel at home. It's very homey and "cute" --- lots of senior citizens dining there. This is a place I would bring my grandma. There was an appetizer of mozzarella (breaded and lightly fried, served in marinara sauce - think of an upscale version of the bar food favorite), which was VERY tasty. The food won't knock your socks off, but it's pretty good, close to home, and the place has a nice ambiance, esp. given the other restaurants along that strip of Wilshire.

Local Italian feels like Rome

I found this place on Saturday night and had no res but wanted a big and tastey feed with my date. This place was PERFECT! The staff are all super polite and have an Italian charm and the wine list is deep. You can get a massive plate of spagetti Bol or whatever sauce you like but I suggest finishing with a Carrot Cake and Vanilla Ice Cream. Will be back for sure!
