view & uploadreally great crispy rolls, best sushi, huge portions, good quality, absolutely loves little place, favorite restaurant, highly recommend da bomb
great sushi for the price. i've been twice and loved it both times. great food for the price. other resturants in this price range don't even compare.
This place is off the chain. My roommate and I used to go here a lot and I can't believe it's been over a year since I went. I completely agree with all the other reviews - don't be deterred by the store's name. Personally, I especially like the yellowtail, but everything is a good choice.
Da Bomb. I highly recommend Da Bomb. I drive from the Valley a couple times a month just to eat this favorite of mine. It's minced crab, salmon tempura, and avocado wrapped in soybean paper. It's so big that one roll is filling.
Best little secret in town for sushi. My friends and I enjoy hitting the plethora of sushi restaurants that grace the westside. It won't win awards for ambience, but the food is to die for. Without a doubt, this is our favorite for rolls. Don't let the name of the restaurant fool you, the sushi is hardly boring. Always fresh and flavorful, and there are so many creative rolls to choose from that going is always an adventure. Be sure to try their yellowtail, and the lobster tempura roll rocks.
Great value. Great place for reasonably priced sushi. Of course, you get what you pay for - it's certainly not the best, but if you're on a budget or in a rush and have a craving, it's the place to go. Usually very easy to get a seat, and they have good cooked dishes too.
Cheap but tasty sushi. You can't beat this place for sushi, it's quite a good bargain on sushi, try cajun albacore sashimi, it's wonderful, no one had made that sashimi before. The place is small, lots of other wonderful sushi.
An unknown gem on Santa Monica Blvd.. This restaurant is an unknown gem, which is definitely worth a visit. Great for an inexpensive but wonderful meal on a weeknight. Meals consist of sushi rolls from a long menu with a plethora of innovative and tasty options. One order (ranging from 6 to 12 dollars in price) consists of 8 huge rolls; plenty to fill the average person. The restaurant is small (you may have to wait to get seated), the decor is very plain and from the outside, it looks like just another neighborhood Asian restaurant. Don't be fooled: this place is out-of-the-ordinary.
