In Short – Polynesian voodoo dolls, mugs and masks dot the walls alongside sunny Beach Boys-era photographs, while hanging UFO lamps and alien-inspired art provide a sci-fi gleam. The hallway-sized interior and airy sidewalk patio fill up quickly when the sun sets. The espresso-mocha frappe is the centerpiece of a beverage list which features thick, creamy milk shakes, chai teas, Alpine hot chocolate and standard hot coffee creations. A munchies menu includes bagels, buttered Hawaiian bread and hot fudge brownie sundaes.
Best Hangout In My Book

I used to be there all the time when I went to UCLA. Great place to read, catch up with friends, or meet new ones. Sidewalk seating gives the place a great spot for winding down after a long day.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Good Drinks
- Cons: Sometimes hard to find seating, hours of operation are quite random
Smoke filled life.

Damn LA and all it's "anti-smoke" fever. This place makes coffee and cigarettes a work of art once again.
- Pros: Smoking, Music
- Cons: Small, Busy at times.
Perhaps the worst in LA

Awful place. Too loud and echo-y, too small, ambience is really crappy, and the worst of it? They allow smoking inside. Not kidding. Doesn't matter that it's illegal. We got there at 8:45pm, it was still fairly empty inside, but by 9:30 it had filled up, with smokers at almost every table. If you smoke, you'll love this place. If you don't, you don't need cancer.
- Cons: crappy ambience, loud , allow smoking inside
