YUM!. This is a wonderful place to meet the friends for a drink or bite to eat! Specifically, on Taco Tuesdays when the yummy tacos are even cheaper!

They bring out your tortillas with choice of meat on them -- they give you an assortment of toppings so you can add as much or little of each as you want.

Super tasty! The staff are so friendly and wonderful!

Love this place!

very Poor experience. I just had a very POOR experience at Mission. It was my first and probably last time. I wanted a small dinner and gave them a try. I ordered the slow cooked beef (barbacoa?) tacos combo with rice and beans and an order of guacamole. The chips were fine but the salsa had a very oily texture, made my lips feel greasy and no heat. The tacos were very small and too bland. The meat was good, but not really seasoned, not much spice. The rice and beans were ok, plain simmered beans and fluffy rice. The kind of food I feel stupid paying for. I paid my bill and they shorted my change, which I hate. I just wanted to leave, didn't feel like bringing it up, so I shorted the tip. When I was driving away, I got to thinking about the total of the check and it dawned on me that I never got the guacamole, but was charged for it

Terrible Tequila Selection and Uninformed Staff. If you are going to open a tequila bar make sure your staff knows what they are talking about....I travel alot for work and when I go to different cities I make it a point to find the tequila bars. I am an avid tequila drinker. I decided to go with some colleaques and I was very excited because I am a huge fan of The Bowery so I thought this would be good. Same company and it is tequila...WRONG!!!

The bartender informed me they only carry small artesinal tequila companies. That being said I laughed when he was showing us Patron and Don Julio. I am pretty sure that they aren't small or artesinal. I do love some Don Julio 1942 every once in awhile but Patron. GROSS... Then I got the bill and nearly lost it. WAY OVERPRICED..... It was ridiculous. NO thanks. I can drink another couple miles to the Velvet Margarita or to Malo in either direction and be much more content....

Citysearch Editorial Review. With its stained-glass windows and mood-enhancing indigo walls, this long, narrow room could be mistaken for a Mexican-inspired cathedral. But one look at the tequila-lined bar and it's obvious this mission has a decidedly different object of worship. Like bar-restaurateur George Abou-Daoud's other Sunset chill spots, Bowery and Delancey, the mission of the Mission is hardly pretentious: No matter how crowded it gets, everyone's welcome. Unlike the others, which buzz with a distinctly New York vibe, this feels like the Eagles' Hotel California come to life. Patrons in for the long haul sit at the dark-wood bar or slide into one of the booths while indulging in fresh but slightly overpriced "street food." Highlights of the single-page menu include amply garnished tacos loaded with slow-cooked beef, smoked-pork or grilled mahi-mahi, red snapper ceviche and veggie quesadillas. Drinks provide more options, with everything from fruity margaritas to tequila in just about any variation you can imagine. Amen.

Fabulous Food, Cheap Drinks, and Cute Boys!!!. You have to check this place out!!!! I was going to Delaney's next door(which is great as well) but I was drawn to the Rod Iron gates of the Mission Catina!! The decor is very cool and the food is so fresh!! The chips were home made and warm...I had the asada tacos (2 for $6.50!)- they gave 4 salsa and topping choices! They were not greasy, the meat was fabulous My mom had Corn on the cob- with a house specialty butter- so good. We also tried their quesadillia - heaven- my mom said it tasted better than Homemade Mac and Cheese! ... The bar service was on point! Drinks were only $7!!!

You have to check it out- cute boys, outside patio, great food!!!
