Went for appetizers at sunset and enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next day for breakfast. The drinks on the patio were deliciously dangerous and the tuna tacos were amazing. Breakfast was fantastically decadent and the view of the morning surf was a great way to start the day. Great service, too, thanks!

When to Go:
The opulent Beachcomber weekend brunch, served from 7:30am until 4pm ($24.95 adults/$9.95 children), features white chocolate macadamia pancakes, filet mignon Cobb salad and wild mushroom and truffle mac-and-cheese. Brunch includes mimosa and coffee.
The Extras:
Adjacent to Surfrider Beach, this is a great place to watch the surfers; the pier also offers sport fishing daytrips on sportfishing boats (check website for details). A surf museum, whale watching tours and private charters are also fun pier activities.
What to Drink:
The full bar sports black leather bar chairs and deco-style tile murals from Malibu Potteries; a huge specialty cocktail menu includes the Royal Hawaiian Mai Tai, Zuma Surfer, Beachcomber, and Malibu Mudslide. An ample wine and champagne list focuses on California labels. Corkage is $15.
