What People Are Saying About Take A Bao

In Short – This eatery has the one thing that saves it from its cheesy name and food court location--good food. Their unique take on the traditional Chinese bao, a steamed bun stuffed with a variety of savory fillings, introduces mall-goers to a little known dim sum favorite with a new Western twist. The buns, of which there are 8 varieties including the signature barbecue pork and the light and airy panko crusted fish, are served in pairs (mix and match!) and make a hearty meal in spite of their small size. The menu also includes fresh salads, noodles and other interesting concoctions…

Editor's Tips

The Extras:
Those with vegetarian or dietary restrictions, take heed: You can substitute your baos' steamed buns with a bibb lettuce wrap, ask for wheat buns instead of regular buns, or create a custom bao or rice bowl with any vegetables on the menu.
Where to Sit:
One side of the eatery's counter is exclusively reserved for its customers. Remember those 8 seats the next time you're looking for a table during the food court's Saturday lunch rush.
Parking:
Parking is free for three hours (with validation from the lot machines) in the shopping center garage.
