The new Bar and Lounge at the Mondrian Hotel, the ADCB, Asia de Cuba Bar and Lounge is sassy, comfy, exciting and inviting. With furry orange and white furniture, low lighting and gold leaf stenciled on the ceiling, it brings a new level of comfort and sass to the Mondrian. Newly renovated by Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, ADCB just made its debut on the scene a mere two weeks ago.
The food is simple, yet amazing. They serve sushi rolls, traditional like the Tigre Roll and inventive like the Kobe Beef Roll. There are also Tapa Crudos and Tapas Calientes in the perfect small size to whet your appetite or tide you over while you wait for a table at the amazing Asia de Cuba. All of the dishes are designed with "umame' in mind, a balance of salty, acid, sweet and spicy. When Umame is achieved, it is said you can enjoy any type of wine with Beef, fish, be it red or white, and it will compliment it perfectly!!
They also have inventive new cocktails, such as the Hourglass Martini, with gin, elderflower liquer and a splash mint infused tea finished with a sugar rim and the DELICIOUS Lemongrass Infused Lychee Margarita! With a friendly, and knowledgeable staff, you can't ask for a better place to chill before hitting that big party, or to have some relaxing tapas and cocktails with that old friend you haven't seen in forever!

Fresh from its multimillion-dollar facelift, Sunset Boulevard's ultra-luxe Mondrian Hotel has transformed half of its open-face lobby with a smooth, sceney lounge. Filled with velour-coated cream booths and orange chairs set against metallic-speckled walls, it's reminiscent of a scene from Alice in Wonderland ... on Prozac. (A little crazy, but much calmer.) Waitresses wrapped in white weave through faux wood grain tables as fashy and flashy types sip sake and exotic martinis on stools shaped like salt and pepper shakers. There's a signature cocktail list of 23 specialties, including the Lemongrass Lychee and Asian Side Car. For a little more nourishment, guests can choose from a variety of tapas and half sushi rolls that include the popular surf and turf sliders of Wagyu beef served with caramelized sweet onions and lobster with truffled slaw.
