I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Renan

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Renan and his staff. He did my fertility treatments and I was originally planning on switching to a different doctor for my prenatal care (it would have been cheaper due to my insurance) but by the time I was pregnant I wouldn't even think about changing.

He came in on the weekend to do fertility treatments for me because that's when they had to be done. He gave me his cell phone number so I could call him personally if I had any questions or problems. He obviously cares very much about his patients as does his staff who has always worked hard to fit me in when I needed a last minute appointment.

During my pregnancy he never made me feel like my questions were stupid (as other doctors have done) and he was always careful to fully explain all my options regarding every test/procedure and let me be the one to decide. OBs have a bad reputation for pushing pregnant women in to unnecessary c-sections and other medical interventions but that was not my experience with Dr. Renan at all.

I had the labor & delivery experience that I wanted and many of the nurses at St. Joseph's told me he has a reputation for delivery babies without cutting the mother (meaning he has a low c-section and episiotomy rate). It's always good to hear from the labor & delivery nurses, who know the inside scoop, that your doctor has a good reputation.

As long as I'm having babies I'll do everything in my power insurance-wise to be sure he's the one to handle my prenatal care and delivery my babies. I've referred friends to him and they've also had great experiences.

BEST OB-GYN DOCTOR!

BEST OB-GYN DOCTOR!

I have had Dr. Renan as my regular delivery doctor during 2008, yet after having my baby the insurance which I had ""HMO"" was not excepted here no longer. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!

With fantastic delivery I had, which resulted with no pain, no problems, speedy delivery. I was very happy. Over the 25+ years of experience he has... I do recall he is a professional and highly experienced at what he does during pregnecy check-ups, delivery, and after delivery check-ups.

Yes, the office wait takes a really long time (usually 2-4 hours), yet I'm not reviewing his slow staff or really bad customer service at the front desk, but Dr. Renan himself. As far as having one baby... being very scared the first time, he made it very easy and comfortable for me.

He is hands down #1!

He found my PCOS , no one else did

He found my PCOS - no one else did. I also like his no nonsense personality. He's a pro. I wouldn't want to work for him... but I like his personality and feel he really cares. He's French (I think) and may be misunderstood by some... but I have to say I get a protective caring feeling from him. After I get pregnant and have a baby I will update. I don't have the right to give 5 stars yet since I haven't. I like him though :D

He's an AMAZING doctor!

He delivered my 2nd son back in 2000! Too bad I have crappy insurance now and he doesn't accepts it. I don't blame him but damn I wish I could still go to that office. maybe someday :(

he's very caring and his staff is great!
