After gobbling up their adjoined sister bar, Vinum Populi, this casual Italian eatery now has it all, including one of the best wine-by-the-glass selections in Culver City.
AWFUL SERVICE!

I bought a client here for a lunch and we were seated at a table inside by the way to the restroom when there were plenty of other tables available. when asked if we could switch we were told the other tables were reserved. we ordered our food and some wine. When the wine came the server spilled it all over us. RED WINE! He apologized and offered us complementary glasses on the house for the spill. We finished our meal and our wine and when the bill came, NO COMP. When I asked, I was told only one glass would be comped. When the bill was corrected only a few bucks were taken off even though the glass of wine was 12 bucks. Not wanting to look like a jerk in front of my client, I paid the bill.
I WILL NEVER EAT HERE. AWFUL UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE.
I coudln't even get all the stains out of my scarf and skirt. had to retire those pieces.
I NEVER TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS PLACE EXCEPT TO TELL THEM THIS STORY AND IF FRIENDS SAY THEY'RE GOING HERE I TELL THEM NOT TO.
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: unprofessional staff and ownership

I've been here a few times...not by choice..and EVERY single time I've been here the pasta dishes have come out cold. Was there last night, same thing. The service is slow which I guess explains the temperature of the food. Not only that but my date ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and it was completely tasteless. I like pasta al dente but some of the noodles were just plain hard. I had the chopped salad which was ok. It's not very expensive .. the only redeeming quality.. but really not a good place. So many other places in culver city on the same street. NEVER again
- Pros: house wine was pretty good
- Cons: cold tasteless food, bad service

This is a perfect gimmicky wine bar. It reminded me of an upscale serve yourself fro'yo'. A casual classy setting with very little attitude. Not exactly best "bing" (wanted to use a word than rhymes with "sang" but ctysrch won't let me) for your buck but great idea and something different for a night out in Culver City.
- Pros: hands off classy environment
