Club Nokia Delivers. I've seen more than a few shows at Club Nokia in the year+ it's been open. Beck x2, Puscifer x2, George Clinton/Greyboy Allstars, Black Crowes, Porcupine Tree and I have yet to leave the theater disappointed. I read that Prince bashed the room and its sound when he played there in March 2009, but I think it was because he played three shows at three different venues in Nokia Plaza- not giving each the proper time for soundcheck, etc. No such complaints from me - It's nice to have another quality venue in town and I can't wait to go back for the moe. concert at the end of this month!

Citysearch Editorial Review. Not to be (easily) confused with Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, the "Club" is the entertainment hub's destination for intimate, live music from emerging acts, cultural shows, corporate events and private party rentals. But with names like Beck, Lupe Fiasco, Usher, Sergio Mendes, NAS, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Matisyahu, B.B. King and Sarah Silverman set to perform, along with catering courtesy of a little chef named Wolfgang Puck, things aren't looking terribly smalltime.
