In moving from Los Angeles to New Jersey, 3 items were 'lost in transit'. The movers who brought our items to our new location even acknowledged this loss, initialing that there was a list of items that were picked up in LA and 3 fewer items were delivered to NJ! 2 boxes were a complete set of china (receipts provide evidence to the value) and 1 box was a decade's worth of lesson plans - I am a teacher.

All the nice people we spoke to at Remington made no effort to locate these missing items. After months of a run-around and pawning us off to some 3rd party claims officer, we received no compensation. We would prefer someone actually FIND the items to compensation, but compensation would at least have been appropriate.

I strongly advise against using this company.

REMINGTON ARE THIEVES - DO NOT USE I beg you not to use these people, they are thieves and cowboys. I can only assume all the other reviews are from employees. We had THOUSANDS of $$ worth of things stolen by these spiteful, lo-life scum. They offered $110 compensation for nearly $10k worth of things that went 'missing'. Please - do not use this company. It was clearly set up as a way to steal from people when they are vulnerable. I wish with my whole heart I can never picked up the phone to them. Biggest mistake of my life.

Makes Moving Cross Country Less Stressful. I used Remington Moving & Storage when I had to move across the country. Everyone was very friendly and they took extra special care of all my personal possessions. If you're in this area and need a move of any kind I strongly recommend you go here!

This worked perfectly. This worked perfectly for me because I wanted to get things out of the house before I put it on the market. Now, when the house sells, I'll just pack up the rest, and have Remington Moving & Storage move everything to my new house. I loved the idea that the container doesn't tip when it's loaded on the truck, so our valuables were safe. It was easy to load everything ourselves since the container didn't have a ramp and was right in our driveway.

Thanks for great service. I was a bit skeptic, because I heard so many horror stories about moving companies, but my friend recommended to me Remington Moving & Storage.
