I love my hair!. My hair looks great! I went to Vivian on the recomendation of my sister, and I'm so glad I did. Vivian gave me partial highlights and really did a great job! The color looks so natural!! I also love my new cut!

As a stylist, Vivian really wants to make her clients happy. Before starting, she likes to go over exactly what the client wants and likes to get a feel for how they approach their hair on a daily basis. For me, I don't like a lot of fuss and prefer a simple cut that is easy to maintain day to day. And, of course, Vivian naild it!.She offered me tips here and there too, which I found very helpful!

I can't wait to go back!

Chance Encounter. I am so glad that I had an appointment so close to Salon Amba and investigated on a whim; Vivian was so friendly and really made me feel at ease - I have been so put off by stylists with sniffy attitudes in the past but she was great and my hair looks and feels so much better!

Viv's the best!!. I always leave Vivian's chair with a brand new head of hair and brand new attitude to match! I have been going to Viv for 15 yrs. and I still look forward to our visits. She is a true professional with an amazing heart, she always lifts my spirits and never keeps me waiting!!

Salon Amba is a great location with easy parking.

Vivian is the BEST!!!!. I've been going to Vivian for years. She always listens to what I want to do with my look or she'll have her own vision of what cut or color would look great on me. Her colors are amazing and I am constantly complimented on my hair where ever I go. I highly recommend her to everyone. She is friendly and cool on top of being so talented. She is a pleasure to visit with every few weeks and her scalp massage is to die for!!!!

VIvian is the best. Vivian Brik is an artist with hair. I haven't had a hair stylist since the 80's (still recovering from the shock of the style in the 80s) because I haven't found anyone who provides a hair cut that compliments me. Vivian is the 1st stylist that actually gave me a change in hair style which is modern, matches my face and suits my personality. Unlike many stylists who are so impressed with the work they did but the cut didn't match me at all, thus I never return to those stylists. I've been returning to Vivian for years. She provides an amazing scalp and neck massage that relaxes you to a dreamy state. She is very creative and makes excellent suggestions for style changes that compliments your face and life style. She's beautiful, friendly and a great stylist among other skills (make-up artist, wedding hair do's, floral arrangements and more). See for yourself, you'll know what I mean.

FINALLY! Someone who really cares AND listens to what you want :). My first visit was at Vivian's salon in Culver City and now I've followed her to Salon Amba....well worth ANY drive. Vivian really cares about her clients' wishes and she listens to you. I can't tell you how many times I've asked a stylist a specific request, only to be ignored as they do what THEY want so they "turn and burn" and get more people in and out.

When someone comes from a place of genuinely caring, it can only turn out well. She cares as if it were her own hair and makes you feel as if she would stay there all day just so you get what you want....and, from what I hear, she has!! In the chair, you feel like a friend first and a client second.

I highly recommend Vivian to anyone, ESPECIALLY if you've had problems with other stylists in the past. She does all kinds of work that takes special care and attention and she goes above and beyond. Sit back in the shampoo chair, look up and read the note on the ceiling: "HI THERE." Just like a friend would say.

Best Hair Cut and Highlights in Town. I love having my hair cut, highlighted and styled by Vivian. I am so thankful that we can get skillful and professional services here on the westside. Once Vivian does her magic with my hair I am floating on cloud nine all day. I get so many compliments on my hair. I must get some of her business cards to hand out. I am tired of searching my cell phone for her number to write on a scrap of paper for everyone who asks, " Where do you get your hair done?" When you go, try not to fall asleep during the relaxing scalp massage she does when she is washing your hair!! It is so the best. She is the best!!

Loved my Highlights!!. I followed Vivian from her previous salon, where I discovered her last year. I love the way she does my hair--I get blonde highlights, and let me tell you, I've gone to places on Rodeo Drive that cost almost 3 times the price, but I honestly like her better than all those places! No pretension, great service (you get a complimentary paraffin wax hand treatment when getting highlights that is sooo relaxing), nice atmosphere in the salon, and reasonable prices! I highly recommend Vivian at Salon Amba to anyone and everyone!
