DON'T GO HERE ANYMORE-UNDER BAD NEW OWNERSHIP

I used to love this place UNTILL TODAY. This place is under new ownership and the new owner is insane, offensive and abusive. I walked into the salon today to ask Danny (the previous owner) a question regarding my dog's grooming. All the sudden this insane old man intervenes in my conversation and begins to yell at me for no reason. He yells to me that he is the new owner and he doesn't want any of Danny's clients here anymore. I inquired why and explained that I have been a loyal paying customer. His anger grew and not only did he frighten me and my dog but the other animals getting groomed there were scared out of their minds. I decided to walk out of the salon. The new owner proceeded to call me cell phone and screamed at me that he was throwing my contact information out and for me never to come back there again. Then he said, "GO F**K YOURSELF" and hung up. Aside from being extremely hurt and upset, I am more upset for the poor pets that have to endure this mans anger issues. Please don't take your pet here anymore-for your pets sake and don't support this kind of behavior. Uptown Grooming has gone Downtown.

I have a 12 year old miniature poodle...

She may not love going to the groomer,

but once we get there, she chills out and

knows that they are kind to her.

When we leave, she looks GORGEOUS.

They made my mutt look regal

I have a rescue mutt. I had never gotten her groomed. I live near Uptown Grooming and while walking my dog I had met, in passing, this delightful fellow, Dannie.

I took Ms. Mutt in, finally, and he cleaned her and cropped her and when he was done she not only looked gorgeous, but was wagging her tail like crazy.

She is in love with Dannie.

I think he has magical powers.

in any case, he treated her so lovingly, and groomed her so beautifully I will be taking her back as often as I can.

I love Uptown Grooming, and Dannie is brilliant.

These guys deserve a trophee let alone a review.

Let me give you a little background about me : I am the most difficult, OCD, demanding, needy client a groomer (or any person) can meet . I am usually NEVER happy and I am supper sensitive about who handles my dogs. I get panic attacks if I see one little tiny mistake. The guy who took me in this morning was Richard. The minute I talked to him I felt like a weight was lifted of my chest. He was calm and accomodating, he understood exactelly what I was expecting and when I came back to pick my two little darlings I realized that he did it all perfectly - I am not kidding, i don't see perfection very often in this town! . The nails, the ears, the shiny coat, the smell, the little bow. I was amazed. yes me the client from hell , I was actually satisfied 110%. Lilly and Wally were glowing and happy. Here is the thing If I am satisfied you will probably be too . These guys love and care about dogs you just can tell by the way they do their job.

Uptown Grooming is the best pet grooming salon in Los Angeles!!!

I would highly recommend Uptown Grooming to anyone who truly loves their pets and even considers them to be 'part of the family.' I have a 4 year old Shitzu (Vinny), a 3 year old Boston Terrier (Mack) and a 6 year old Labrador (Spanky). My doggies are always so happy to see the friendly groomers. They always come home smelling great and are as clean as can be! I noticed they still smell clean even days after the visit! The salon itself is very clean and offers a more personable experience for my boys and me. The stylists are very knowledgeable and experienced and offered me wonderful advice on food, shots, exc and once even saved me a visit to the vet! You can count on seeing us every 2 weeks! Thanks again, Vinny, Mack, Spanky and James.
