Spitz

Sweet sangria and meaty donor kebob wraps make this branch of the local chain a popular after-work spot for the downtown crowd.

Tasty kabobs and kabob dishes (I love the Spitz fries). Casual fun atmosphere, affordable prices and bonus they serve beer and wine too! Valentine's they are holding an Anti-Valentine's day celebration with a dj, cocktail specials and more!

A sister location to their Eagle Rock brick & mortar, the Little Tokyo Spitz earns a few extra starts for hosting an excellent cocktail program using all fresh ingredients. Plus with the very reasonable price tag of $9 a pop these drinks pack a punch, making Spitz the perfect place to kick of a night at the Downtown Art Walk (or really any night you're looking for delicious food and incredible drinks.)

The Street Cart Fries done in the style of "The Works" is the gem here. Fries topped with garlic aioli, feta, peppers & veggies is the bomb.

Distinguishing itself from the original Eagle Rock location, this downtown destination for the doner kebab offers a wine list and an array of microbrews.. In Short
In a neighborhood dominated by sushi and sake, two Occidental College buddies have found a second home for their Turkish-style sandwiches and other Middle Eastern treats. The star of the menu remains the classic doner kebab, consisting of focaccia or pita bread stuffed with lamb, beef, veggies, chili sauce and yogurt-like tzatziki spread. Those ordering at the counter can also have their doner prepared with chicken, falafel or meat-free. Kebab combo meals come with a fountain drink and one side, such as sweet potato fries or pita strip chips with hummus. The cafe, a quasi-industrial scene decked out in huge abstract metal fixtures, also features two well-stocked bars--one for gelato and the other for wine and microbrews.
