decent thai food, decent patio seating, overwhelming din, good chicken panang
Editorial Review. Casual, small cafe serves up affordable Thai dishes.
Actually called Pot&Pan Thai. No longer known as Tew, Pot&Pan Thai was a small, crowded place but had some decent patio seating. We arrived before the lunch rush and were served in short order. My chicken panang was good but nothing special. The rice seemed a bit overcooked. It quickly became extremely crowded and we left just as the din of conversation became overwhelming.
there are plenty of cheap thai places in the area that manage to promptly seat, and serve decent thai food. this is not one of them. we waited a full hour before one of our 2 entrees was served... then about 10 minutes to get silverware... then about 20 minutes later, my girlfriend got her food.
wifi next door.
i ended up going here one afternoon b/c mystic joe's cafe next door was closed.
the food was unremarkable, but it was nice that the wifi from mystic joe's was still accessible through the wall.
