chris is the best. CHRIS is the best! albert messed my hair up at star house i had to facebook him and find out that he had moved! thank god i found him! hes the best with me and all my guy friends! and its a cool new space in old town! i recommend!

Best salon in Pasadena. Ok I am a bit of a hair junkie and have tried more salon in the area then all my friends. I am happy that I now have found a home with Crowned. I read reviews and made an appointment with Andrea and Chris and love my hair. They both talked to me, came up with ideas and delivered. The space is modern and a little risque and the feeling is great. I loved it.... thanks Crowned I will be back

Go see Aimee and you will not regret it!!. I've never written a review on these blogs. Ever. But after seeing Aimee, I had to let everyone else know out there about my fantastic experience with Aimee because she deserves it. Being new to California, I was looking for a hairstylist that was convenient, not too pricey and would make me look fabulous. I went to Aimee and she was amazing. It was like a before and after makeover to my hair and it exceeded ALL my expectations. I haven't liked wearing my hair down at all when I?m at work or home because I don't have a lot of time to make it look great in the mornings but Aimee made me love to wear it down without spending any time on it in the mornings! I am now able to live in a curling iron-free world and it still fascinates me that she made me look amazing without touching a curling iron. She styled it perfectly after my cut and due to my lack of styling skills, when I tried to do it at home later on in the week and couldn't make it look like she did, I went back to her for help and she showed me exactly what she did to style it and made sure I knew how to do it on myself before I left the studio. She was patient and not only did she listen to what I wanted, she is by far, the nicest person that I've met in California and her sincerity is refreshing in a world full of sales people. I have found my hairstylist for life! Go see Aimee and I promise you will look great and be thankful you went to see her. I know I am.

Always Leaving A Little Taller!!!. There are few things in life that we all can agree on! One such thing is when you find a stylist who knows how to cut your hair that makes you stand a little taller, you have struck GOLD!!! I am proud to say that I have struck GOLD with Meredith Morris! I have been a client of Meredith's for years now. Whenever she goes, I go!!! In this town you want to look your best, no doubt about it! Meredith, with her southern charm, will make sure when you look in the mirror you look like a million bucks and when you leave you are walking a little taller!

Rock Star Hairstylists!!!. The minute I stepped into the salon, I felt like I was home. Very friendly and welcoming staff. I had my consultation with Meredith and just by looking at my hair, she knew exactly what needed to be done to fix my frumpy lackluster do. I have been looking for a pasadena hair salon for a long time now and I have definitely found it with Crowned Studio.

Aimee: Hairstylist/ Lifesaver. Let me just say that Aimee is a hair coloring and cutting expert! A natural DARK brunette, I started dating a guy who has a thing for blondes. Giving in to his suggestion, I sought out a different stylist initially who highlighted my hair four times trying to achieve blonde...FRIED it!...and STILL didn't achieve blonde! After my hair was near falling out but still desperately seeking ideal blonde perfection, I was referred to Aimee by a girlfriend who said that she was a color correction and coloring EXPERT. She was absolutely RIGHT!! Aimee not only took the time to explain to me what SHOULD have been done to my hair to not be damaged, but put me on a path of hair health rescue while working towards my goal of blonde perfection. Just a few months later, I am more than happy to report that I am a light to platinum blonde with HEALTHY, SHINY hair!!!!! I should also mention that each time with her is like visiting an old girlfriend and a genuinely look forward to my next appointments with her!

Thank You, Meredith.. I live nearby and noticed Crowned Studio had just opened. After work, I walked in and everyone was so nice. Meredith just put me in her seat and gave me a 15 minute consultation. I have been coloring my own hair for the past 3 years and it really showed and it had been a good 6 months since I had my hair cut. Needless to say, I was in a hair rut. Meredith was so sweet and came up with a lot of awesome suggestions. I scheduled an appointment with her and went back the next day. She totally transformed my looks beyond my wildest imagination. She was savvy with the scissors and I felt so comfortable with her. I have had so many compliments and am so grateful to her for giving me back some confidence and taking me out of the hair rut I was in. Thanks Meredith!! You are awesome girl!

Best Cut and Color in LA!. I am so lucky to have found Chris and Andrea! I love Chris and Andrea so much that I drive all the way from Studio City to get my hair cut and colored by them! Yes, there are more hair salons than Starbucks where I live, but, in LA, a cut and color can cost you $350! And the LA stylists aren't even nice! I was so tired of over-paying for salon services that I started coloring my own hair. After accidentally dying my hair black, I went to Andrea. Best decision ever! Crowned Studio is such a refreshing change! It is sweet and sunny and everyone is so friendly! AND Andrea and Chris charge less than LA salons even though they are worth WAY more! Andrea rescued my locks, bringing them back from being nearly dead, and created a beautiful caramel color! Plus, in a double-stroke of luck, I found Chris! Chris is an awesome stylist! His styling gives my hair body and shape and I can even re-create his salon look on my own! Chris and Andrea are the best! And their team is wonderful, friendly and professional! I receive compliments all of the time about my color and my shiny hair and the great cut! I love Crowned Studio! They make me look and feel like a million bucks (but for a lot less)!

Love this hair salon in Pasadena. I love this place... I read about the salon online and work just down the street so I thought I would give them a try. I was treated like a friend.... its a warm cozy place and everyone laughed and joked with everyone else... they even had a movie on the tv... I sipped a cappuccino and glanced through a mag while my color set (or whatever it does) and really enjoyed it... Crowned Studio will be a place I come back too and will tell people about....

Best Hair Salon in Pasadena. I followed Andrea and Chris from Starr House the salon to their new diggs at Crowned Studio and I must say I LOVE this salon... everything about it is glam... from the staff to the mirrors its cool to the cuticule... Andrea does the best hilite and Chris does the most amazing cuts in town. This twosome the dynamic hair duo just keep wowing me eveytime... I will be your loyal head cheerleader forever!! Yes they are that good!!! Run to see them and you too will sing their praises!!!
