Well-curated shoe boutique brings stylish kicks to EP.. The philosophy behind this hip, intimate shop is simple: Owners Bo and Kevin Carney carry stuff they like, mostly from local designer friends. What that means for shoppers is a selection of exclusive items: This is one of the only places in L.A. where you’ll find Arkitip art magazine, cool lamps from Paris-based Atelier and men’s tees from Japanese designer Alexander Yamaguchi. As for the shoes, guys can stock up on Kevin Carney’s line, The Generic Man, or his lower-priced Generic Surplus. For the gals, there are shoes, bags and more from labels like Slow and Steady Wins the Race, Repetto and Rachel Comey. Other L.A.-based finds include a small selection of clothing from Zachary’s Smile, eco-friendly laptop bags and bracelets from Vivier and candles and men’s grooming products from Baxter of California.
