We had a wonderful experience

i would like to share my experience with American Trusted Movers. I had moved with this company last year and was very happy. They showed up on time. Wrapped all my furniture with pads so carefully i was impressed. I requested the same crew this year because i had to move again and a diffrent crew showed up even more amazing then the first. I just want to let you know that these movers and the crew last year were amazing, professiona, courtious and went above and beyond the call of duty both times. my mother had used this company 2 month ago and was also impressed. This company is fantastic! highly recommend.

A Great Move

I hate moving. Hate it. A big thanks to American Trusted Movers for making it so much easier. I was moving from a one bedroom, to a larger two bedroom townhouse about 12 miles away. I had never hired movers before, had always just gotten friends to help and a rented moving van.

This was SO much easier, and so much better. Three 3 guys arrived on time, were clean, polite, and spoke English so there were no communication difficulties. I had originally planned on moving a month earlier, but I let them know about the delay, and was able to schedule my move for the day I wanted it done without any trouble. They called on the Thursday before the move to confirm the old address and new address. They arrived with Map printouts and directions between the two. Everyone worked very hard, and kept moving the entire time. They even moved my 50" Plasma screen that I was a bit concerned about, but they paid it great attention and care, as they did with everything else. Not a single item was broken or scratched.

I can't really say enough good things about these guys, and as I used Yelp and Citysearch reviews to originally find them, I'm happy to be able to post another good review about them.

RUINED MY DAY

I called American Trusted Movers after reading negative reviews about the company that I originally planned to use who were 30% cheaper but I didn't want to take a chance as they were late most of the time.

I called American Trusted Movers who said they had an opening at 9am. I told them I would take it and followed up in writing with the details. I then made calls to plan my day around this 9am pick up and a 10.30 delivery. I also sent in their form.

Denneil the administrator called and told me that she made a mistake and they could only pick up at 2pm. I told her that I couldn't do that but I would think about it..

I then received a call 30 minutes later from a person in their office telling me that they would be there at 9am. I said great and made all the appropriate arrangements to have someone there at 9am and for me to be at the other end at 10.30am. The next morning Daniell called and told me that she was sorry but they made a mistake and could not be there until 2pm. This was 1 hour before they were supposed to be there. In the meantime I had given away my bed and other furniture.

I could not find anyone to deliver on that short notice so Amerian Trusted Movers cost me my entire day which is at least four times the cost of the delivery!! Demniel told me that she was obligated to report all complaints to the owner who would contact me. I never heard from the owner or anyone after that. Their attitude must be sorry ... next. .. If it was me, I would say we will do this for free or some concession, but NOTHING!!

btw ..The movers arrived at 3 pm (an hour late). They were ok as movers although a piece of the bed frame was broken because they couldn't remember how it was supposed to go which means I now have to spend at least an hour and a half finding a replacement.

Bottom line: in spite of all the positive reviews which is why I used them in the first place I would not use them again nor would I recommend them. Successful companies deal with their mistakes and don't ignore them thinking they will just go away.
