There's something a little magical about stumbling upon this wholesome snack shack nestled amid the trees across from a popular hiking trail to the Griffith Observatory. Hungry hikers flock here to refuel at sturdy cement tables topped with potted peppers on a patio surrounded by redwoods and cheery holiday bulbs. What you won't find on the menu is standard park fare like snow cones and salty popcorn. Instead, expect organic fruit pies made in-house, vegan chili, avocado sandwiches and a philo-wrapped hot dog. You can also grab a cup of organic coffee to sip with a sweet treat like an apricot walnut scone or a lavender vanilla shortbread cookie.
