Really Bad Service!!!

I am giving The painted nail one star because the salon is cute and the bathroom is clean. I took my daughter there with 9 of her little friends for her birthday because all I heard was wonderful things when I called to talk to the staff. they said the girls would each get a chance to pick out a strawberry, vanilla or chocolate lotion to be put on during there sugar baby manicure, which was on the web site and clearly on the counter until the manager to it down after tell me that it was false advertisement and oh well. Here's the real deal when my party walked into the painted nail know one said hello or anything! The make up girl looked up from here phone rolled her eyes and went back to playing with her phone! Finally when the young man at the counter decided to acknowledge us he said oh some one will be down and left us standing there. While standing there another mother walked in for the party upstairs and they never said a word, after she asked 4 people and they acted as if she where not there. Also while I was there another customer was having a problem with her pedicure in the back and all the girls doing nails preceded to gather around the front desk and talk about her. So after sitting there for 20 min watching these girls barely take the polish off my little girls and then slapping new polish on, I had enough I went to talk to the "so called" manager and found them around the corner talking about my party! How rude is that! And then the make up girl of all people tried to talk crazy too me. With all this said I ask for the owners phone number I have called her twice and have heard nothing. I guess my opinion doesn't matter, but we will see if she calls me back. oh one more thing all the girls nail polish fell off within 1 hr because they didn't take the time to put a top coat on. All around bad service. Thank you painted nail for ruining my daughters 9th birthday!!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced!

I purchased one of the Living Social Deals.

I scheduled an appointment with some friends only to have The Painted Nail call us one hour prior to the appointment and cancel. We tried to re-schedule several times and finally got an apointment on a Friday night at 6:00. We arranged for childcare and were excited for the appointment...especially since we had been promised all the "bells and whistles" because of what had happened with our last appointment. Once again we received a call one hour prior to the appointment saying they did not have staffing for our appointments. We were offered no solutions, just a "sorry for your inconvenience". After talking to several other friends and sharing my experience I heard lots of similiar stories. I have never seen such poor customer service.

There are so many wonderful nail salons in the valley that offer fantastic customer service...I will never waste my time with this place again.

Beautiful place but the rest is horrid!

1st let me tell you my standards: My mother is a manicurist at the wynn las vegas, she is the best. Unfortunately I can not go there every 2 weeks to get a mani pedi because I live here in Cali. My expectations are very high and I believe you pay for what you get. So here we go.......

I am new in town and recently came across a great promo for this salon that I couldn't pass up! I was excited because viewing the website it looked like a great salon.

Well the salon is extremely cute! Decorated very nicely but unfortunately it did not set the tone for what was about to happen.

I came in 1st thing on a Sunday, had to wait forever before my manicurist was ready for me (the staff was gossiping/talking amongst themselves.) Finally I was taken to my chair for my pedicure, was extremely disappointed that after all the hype of beautiful decor that their wasn't any spa chairs?! The polish to choose from was cheap, so far the only good thing was my latte. Then I was shocked, they use files and scrubbers that have to be .10 cents each because they were flimsy and ridiculous, my nail tech had a hard time filing me and she still wasn't able to do a descent job! The girl was sweet but looked like she didn't even go to cosmetology school and the polish job was terrible. I will never be back unless the got some girls with experience ( I mean really I could have done my own and they would have looked better and I am by no means good at that kind of stuff) and they should really invest in some better products instead of taking the cheap way out!

I am sad to say this was not a great experience because it has potential and a great location!

A WARNING TO EVERYONE: NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE.

OWNER IS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Unbelievable. The owner of this place called my girlfriend after she wrote a bad review on YELP. You would think she would call and apologize for the terrible service they offered and what a bad experience she had, but NO, instead she ATTACKS my girlfriend for writing a not so good review about their nail salon! I was sitting beside her as she got the call and heard every word. It's unbelievable how horrible this woman was to her, she attacked her as a person, cut her down, and even talked down about other nail salons that my girlfriend goes to, saying they have much lower standards than "The Painted Nail." It's incredibly unprofessional and insanely bad business that just because someone has a bad experience in your shop that you would go through your personal files, call the person, and ATTACK them for warning other people about their bad experience! This is a public forum where people are honest about their experiences, this website is designed that way. If you can't handle a negative review, then you clearly should NOT be running a business, or maybe you should LEARN from the bad things people say and work to make things better.

OVERRATED!!

While a great concept salon and the few times I've been able to get in, I had good service....BUT...I am not a fan!!! I can never get through...I think it's horrible business to have an answering machine during regular business hours and there's huge difficulty getting through to a receptionist...When I do get through they are always booked and I feel like I have to call a month ahead to get a spot!! They do good work, but good luck getting an appointment!
