affordable food, yet not overpriced everything, super fresh apple salad, super fresh grilled chicken, impressed so, yummy grilled cheese, very nice venue

This is a great quick & healthy joint to grab lunch in the middle of Beverly Hills. Plus it has easy access to a 2hr free parking lot!
Citysearch Editorial Review. South Beverly's a lot healthier thanks to this restaurant whose name recalls an '80s doll and embarrassing dance craze. Chef Samir Mohajer's and sous chef Andres Olivera's gourmet organic eats at wildly fair prices include Niman Ranch apple-smoked bacon with plum tomatoes, avocados and arugula (The BLTA) for $11, and a free-range chicken salad with applewood smoked bacon, apples, celery, capers, baby mixed greens, brioche croutons and champagne vinaigrette. Mohajer, formerly of Rustic Canyon, The Little Door and Axe, was already a celebrity on L.A.'s sexy chef scene (yeah, he's handsome) when he decided to focus on making fresh, organic food accessible to Angelenos of all economic stripes. Now he can be found either in the kitchen, behind the counter or working the crowd inside this modest space--perfect for the concept with its pale green walls, blonde wood tables, open kitchen and modern accents. Other menu standouts include the rich yam wedges, the cabbage patch slaw with fresh cilantro and toasted peanuts and roasted baby beets with sheep's cheese topped with avocado vinaigrette. The chocolate chip cookie is made with delicious apricots ... And it's a good thing, because neighboring shops include the likes of Paulette, Leonidas, Hansen Cakes and Mrs. Beasley's Cupcakes.
Amazing EVERY TIME!. I have beeen to the Cabbage Patch 6 times already and it just opened! Everytime I am in the area I make sure to stop in. The burger - AMAZING. The Beet salad AMAZING. The BLT - AMAZING. So fresh, Everything is so delish!!! We need more spots like this. I highly recommend this place!!
Great affordable food!. I went to the cabbage patch a week or so ago and was so impressed! The venue is very nice and the food is just amazing! The burger was just delicious and cooked to perfection, the fries are thin and crispy! Everything is so fresh and tasty, and yet not overpriced! Loved it!
Can you say AWESOME?! Just what BH needed. Deeelicious.
I've gone here many times already b/c I live so close. SO impressed. Menu has wide variety but since I've pretty much had everything. It's extremely fresh & organic without compromising flavor.
My favs are chopped salad (just as good if not better than La Scala), tuna tartar (wow lemon flavor!), cheeseburger (quality meat, melts in your mouth) and yam wedges...wow...MUST TRY!
The wide variety makes it easy to go repeatedly for locals. I can't wait till they start delivery. Try not to go alone so you can taste multiple things...yummy!
LOVE the Patch!. Had lunch at The Cabbage Patch for the first time yesterday. I will DEFINITELY be going back. I had the oh so yummy grilled cheese and vegan butternut squash soup. Just delicious. My boyfriend had the grilled chicken & apple salad that was super fresh and really tasty. There is nothing over $14 which is a nice touch in this economy. I can't wait to go back and try and the burger and fries. Saw them on a place next to us and they looked awesome. It's really nice to have Samir Mohajer back in action. His food is simply fantastic. Maybe he'll open up a Cabbage Patch in Santa Monica someday!
