Lot's of Hollywood’s finest to see here! The good ,bad, but God knows never ugly! Drinks were strong, service was great because we met a guy named Jack who is a promoter. He hooked us up all night!

amazing night

I love this place. Every time i go to Playhouse, the night is just one of those amazing nights that you end up talking about too much. Right when you walk in, it's fantastic. The design, the music, the lights, the people (and go-go's, which definitely gives flashbacks of vegas).
There are a lot of lounges in hollywood lately, which are great too, but to really have that time to let go and just dance, it's perfect.
The crowd is ALWAYS good, people filled with energy (orr alcohol) and a lottt of pretty faces. The door seems to be a pain in the ass, given all the security and TWO lines outside on the street.
BUT since i like to review places i go before i go to them, i found and emailed a promoter named CJ and he put my friends and i on the list. It was perfect! It's so nice to not have to worry about standing in line, and he definitely made sure we had a great night at the club.

the next big thing?

really cool venue. I went here the second thursday after the grand opening and the mob outside was unbelievable. yeah the entrance is a little funky and the staff is unorganized but i know a few legit promoters who actually take care of me. the entrance inside was really cool with the red pillars. inside i felt like the didn't utilize the venues full potential... like if it was just a tad more compact they would have been the next myhouse. regardless the crowd was half hot half filler (sad but true). tables were sold out...and everyone was having a genuinely good time. it's a good once every 3 weeks type of venue... i'd probably go back in 3 weeks.

- Cons: disorganized entrance
