It's Good. Netty's is a hole in the wall type restaurant, with great ambiance. The service is decent and the food was fresh and brought to us in a timely manner. I would only say that some of the prices for the food seemed a little high, this is not a restaurant for monster sized portions, but the quality of the food is great. I would eat here again and recommend it to others. Get the warm shrimp salad, the vinaigrette is amazing!

Great Neighborhood joint. Netty's is a great little spot for a great meal in Silverlake. I love the open atmosphere and the yummy food. I won't drive from West LA to eat here but I would come anytime if in the area.

Behind the chain-linked fence. lies a covered-patio dining area with plantlife painted on the exterior walls of the restaurant. This place is pretty small and I believe they mainly specialize in catering and take-out orders. The meals are hearty and delicious.

Quaint indoor-outdoor eatery. Netty's is such an interesting place. You order at a counter off of a chalk-board menu. But, the dishes are always eclectic, such as blackened cajun catfish and pumpkin ravioli. Then, you're seated on their elegant covered patio, complete with white-linen tablecloths. It's a very romantic spot, filled with foliage and twinkling lights. Highly recommended for special occasions for couples.

why I bought my house. Netty's is a Silverlake institution ("since before silverlake was hip") and thank gawd for this place. when my NYC friends come to visit we eat here everyday. very relaxed. fantastic food. fresh. hot. good. if you want your ego stroked while you yak on your cell- this is not your place..

Awesome Food!. This place was great! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our servers were completely on top of things and our food was delicious. Although the ambiance could be a bit better, definitely worth the value. I am definitely going back again and would highly recommend to anyone.

You'd Have To Be A Masochist.. The service was so atrocious, it was unreal. Either the employees have been trained in the fine art of treating paying customers like dirt or they are so completely miserable that they take out their frustrations on anyone who comes in.

Do not even think about asking for separate checks or asking simple questions regarding the menu. Just go in, order, sit down and shut up. This pretty much sums up the Netty's experience. The food is overrated and I found their paella to be an incredibly poor example of one of my favorite dishes. But what really stays with me is the mean, nasty, horrible attitude behind the counter. Seriously, what is their problem?

P.S. I did write a letter explaining my experience in more detail to the owners hoping for some kind of explanation or apology but to no avail.

great cure for a hangover. this place is not known for it's service. so what? neither is macdonald's, yet you still eat there.

i'm there to eat, not to make friends. don't bother them, and they won't bother you.

the food is excellent. the cajun chicken sandwich will snap you right out of your post-drunken haze. the blackened grilled snapper salad is also on point. get an orangina on the side.

this place is perfect for a saturday brunch/lunch when the sky is blue and breeze is blowing through the bamboo lined patio.
