view & uploadfantastic food, very nice owner, fantastic service, flavorful ahi, still affordable prices, juicy turkey meatloaf, excellent side dishes
Love this place!!. The best breakfast burritos in town...and as a bonus, they give the most amazing cookies with the bill.
excellent food.
what can i say about this place - the food is DELICIOUS and the red wheat and blue is my personal favorite.
you can't go wrong at Sauce on Hampton - if I lived a bit closer I'd visit every other day
Amazing food - Great service!. This place was great. We met the owner who was really pleasant and excited about the food. Great experience overall. There were seven of us and each person loved their meal. VERY reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant to others, and will definitely go out of my way to go back!
Great place for healthful, fresh food.
It's not easy to find this combination of great quality ingredients, prepared in a simple, yet tasty way, with prices that are still affordable.
I could eat here everyday - the food tastes like a good home cooked meal (without all the hard work and dirty dishes!)
Pom Lemonade is great, and the sweet potatoes are to die for!
Great Neighborhood Find. I come here at least once a week. When I get home from a long day's work and I am too tired to cook at home, I will scoot over to Sauce. My fiance and I can get in and out for under 30 bucks - not bad for dinner for two... The turkey meatloaf is juicy & tender - very flavorful - only $11 plus 2 sides (get spinach and sauted mushrooms) - could be the best turkey meatloaf in town. I love the pomegranate lemonade. For the breakfast lovers, Sauce serves breakfast all day. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Great find. This place is quaint and out of the way. My pulled pork was hearty and delicious and my wife's ahi was fresh and flavorful. The side dishes were excellent. The presentation was simple but inviting. I can't wait to go back and have some of their daily fish specials. All of the food manifested comfort and freshness. This was a great find.
Tiny Venice cafe proves organic doesn't have to be pricey.. Proving that good things come in small packages, this uber-tiny cafe is adding a little sauce to one of Venice's quiet neighborhood streets. Named after chef Sassan Rostamian (he's the owner along with his brother Saul), the space--cute and simple with just a handful of wood tables and lined with Sassan's photography--is sandwiched right up against a health food/muscle man store--a fitting locale considering the menu here is all about healthy, organic eats. Every dish--from the bionic breakfast burrito and piled-high Cobb salad to the popular pulled pork and freshly made, gooey chocolate chip cookies--is made with seasonal, organic and locally sourced ingredients. Even better: Just about every dish costs around $11 (except for the daily seafood specials), making this the kind of place where folks actually afford breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. (Okay, maybe not every day, but at least it's an option.)
Great local place - fantastic food and service.
New patrons get a free homemade macadamian, chocolate chip cookie which is super yummy. It's a great local place with a fresh menu, both breakfast and lunch. (breakfast is served all day too!)
The owner is very nice and so is the wait staff. Pictures on the walls are from the owners travels in Europe - very bright and warm space.
Drinks came out quick and the food was hot. It's very small but I think that's part of its charm. If you like to support the local businesses I would definitely recommend going here. There's even a few tables outside so that you can soak up the sun.
