My child loves Westwood Hills Preschool and so do I! In the 21+ months he has been going there, only ONE time has he ever not wanted to go to school. Every day he is happy to go to school, enjoys playing and learning, and comes home with fun projects and artwork. The school has a dynamic new director who is always available if I want to chat about my son, and she seems to love being with the kids. The teachers are all very kind and dedicated to the children. I can’t wait to send my daughter there when she’s old enough!

So surprised to read the last two comments. This school is a Westside little secret. Wonderful, caring teachers; enriching environment; diverse population and lots of laughter everyday. What more could a grandmother want for her grandchildren? Go check it out for yourself!

Terrible school. Do your research and observe the children and teachers before enrolling you child in this school. The tuition is very cheap but it is at the expense of your child's development and learning. The Director is incompetent and it reflects the teachers hired. Some of the teachers are dressed inappropriately (half-shirts, low-rise jeans), and have very poor grammar and vocabulary. The teachers can't keep track of how many children they have in the classroom/playground because they are distracted in the playground because the teachers are trying to find each other for who will do snack-time next.

The curriculum is very poor and has no creative effort from the teachers. They use photocopied worksheets. Their circle time consists of some songs and pointing at pictures and letters. The children spend majority of their time in the playground and I feel this does provide the structure that a child needs to be prepared for kindergarten. Annnddd they have TV time!

I wish someone had given honest feedback about this school so I did not traumatize my child by being enrolled at this daycare.

Pros: very inexpensive daycare for the area

Con: The parking is terrible, disorganized. Director is rarely seen out of her and never seen interacting with kids.

Best Preschool in the World!. Kids who go to this preschool are afforded an amazing educational foundation. I know a several doctors who went to this preschool. I'm one of them!

Great preschool. My son has been going to the Westwood Hills Preschool for the past 2 years and he loves it there! The staff/teachers are friendly, always give us constructive feedback regarding my son's behavior and progress in his classroom (there are several parents/teachers conferences during the year and his teachers are also always available if I want to talk to them outside those meetings).

The director and teachers welcome suggestions and allow parents to participate to the school events if they want to and have time but never put pressure on you if you are too busy at work and can't make it to one event.

My son is always very proud to bring at home all the beautiful things he made at school every week and show us everything he learned: drawings, collages, crafts...

They also have a tons of fun activities for summer camp.

great preschool !. this is an awesome preschool with loving teachers, my daughter would be sad on the weekends as she enjoyed preschool so much.

they also have a great curriculam and fun events for the kids.

looking forward to sending my son there this year.
