They lost my documents , never told me they did..... it's been a year, and i was to get my italian citizenship in 3 or 4 months...they never called me or try to contact me to let me know the status or to tell me they lost my papers....I have to start the process all over again..I found out they lost my documents trough the official translator who works close to the consulate

they never answer calls, emails, letters, faxes...very rude

Worst consulate office

This is the worst consulate I have ever been too. The staff is so rude. You don't even get a receipt as proof of payment for your visa application! I submitted my application 2 weeks ago, and have not received my passport back yet, when I called the consulate office, they said we don't know when your application will be processed, and there are people who are traveling tomorrow but their visa is not yet ready, so I don't think your visa would be ready either. When I asked them to check on my application, he just transferred me to a voice mail system. They behave as if they are doing us a favor, yet they have a job because of people like us who would like to visit their country! I would recommend applying for a visa 2 months in advance as this consulate office could ruin your vacation plans and they have no sense of customer service.
