You go for the Bo Ssam and you stay for the ice cold sake served with a ladle... But it's not the worst idea to bring a local to order for you since Korean is the new English.

I love Bo Ssam! Boiled pork with cabbage and spicy radish slaw!

Yummy Cold Pork; Great lunch specials. This is a great casual dining place. Lots of selection, affordable prices and service is good (waiters typically speak at least a little English). The cold pork dish here is delicious (but probably not for you unless you like authentic korean cuisine). The other dishes (korean bbq, dumpling soup, etc.) are all quite tasty and consistent- the only things I haven't liked so far are the bimbimbap and the mung bean pancakes - the former because the flavoring was simply off and the later because I didn't like the texture very much. All in all, a great place to grab lunch. Parking can be a bit difficult - they have valet but the lot is pretty small.

stick with the house specialities. still undecided about the seafood pajun. definately loaded with seafood but i can't say it's the best i've had. . now the fatty pork dish WAS scrumptious. . .i came with a large group and we definately had to wait. but the booths were nice and big and accomodated us. i would stick with the house specialities which are the pork dishes and the pajun. we made the mistake of supplementing the meal with tofu soup, bool golgi, and chicken terriyaki. . .those were all subpar and i've had better at other korean restaurants. in the end, i would go again, but not order the other dishes.

Beyond Korean BBQ. This is my absolute favorite Korean restaurant. Their menu offerings go far beyond what you'll find at the many Korean BBQ places around town. The seafood pancake here is unbelievably delicious. The seafood stews are rich and hearty and fantastic. The noodle salad dish is a perfect, bright, refreshing compliment to the hotter and heavier pancake and stew dishes. The complimentary small dishes that are served alongside the entrees are all top notch. This place is just number one quality in all respects!
